guys I had played Half-Life 2 some years back but I stopped as I got stuck at some place in the game.

now I think of starting to play again but I saw on wiki that there are 5-10 games of Half-Life and also m scared of getting stuck at places

even though I saw walkthroughs on youtube I still could nt get through

guys PLEASE council me ,I really love Half-Life

I know its off topic.. but hey Sam! I need some help in serious sam - the second encounter


I am at stage called "The Pit" and there is rotating camera bug over there. See this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&v=ZoknZ6r-cRQ

There is a link given where they had a fix.. but it really didn't worked. So, can you tell me how to fix it?

dude did you put the files in the bin folder?

a good way would be till you finish that dark part of the pit do not use the sinper
try to run directly towards the end where that [weirbull] is running from

surprisingly I never had that problem even though mine was w***z ,I guess I didn't use the sniper there

yes I crossed the gate where a giant alien is standing(throwing fire balls) but as I crossed the gate, it starts rotating..

And the link is blocked by hostel wifi
Hey, can you post the latest patch here if it is not enough large in size? I will be grateful to you.

you should download another game,but keep the save so you can start from there

everywhere

eventually I will get through by watching a walkthrough

just tell me is Half-Life worth going through I mean I don't like games where you get stuck in puzzles

I don't see what's so hard in Half-Life 2, Half Life maybe, but Half Life 2 no.

HL1 doesn't really have that many puzzles. I only got stuck during the tentacle boss monster and some marine areas where I was low on HP just after a save point.

Other than that just look for arvents or stuff like that. That usually takes you where you want to go.

But there are only 4 Half-Life games together.

Unless you could Opposing Force and Blue Shift off course.

I removed the unreleased one and added the showcase level of lost coast. It was supposed to be part of the Half-Life 2 story, but got released separately cause they didn't manage to put it into the game.


Blue Shift and Opposing Force are side stories.

In Blue Shift you take the role of a security guard in Black Mesa during the HL1 story line.

In Opposing Force you take the role of a military commando who is sent into Black Mesa during the time of HL1.

surprisingly currently cs1.6, source, Half-Life 2 episode 1, Earth Special Forces are all running fine
