I NEED HELP Whenever I try to launch gamepack Sparking Meteor 4 for ZEQ it says Error Failed to load default.cfg please help I wanna play it really bad.

WHENEVER I TRY TO LAUNCH ZEQ2 HEREOS OF EARTH LIGHTNING POWER SPARKING V4 AND BUDOKAI TENKAICHI 3 IT SAY FAILED TO ALLOCATE 512 MEGS,723MEGS AND A LOT MORE FOR SPARKING METEOR IT SAYS FAILED TO LOAD default.CFG AND SOMETIMES FOR ALL EXCEPT SPARKING METEOR IT SAYS START WITH SAFE VIDEO SETTING I PRESS okay BUT GAME LAUNCH THEN CLOSE.PLEASE HELP!

okay, let me address those problems (yeah there are more then one).
1) Failed to alocate 512(768) megs is a hunkmeg problem. If you can't start the game, go to zeq2config file in ZEQ2 directory. Find the line that says:
seta com_hunkmegs 768 and change it to 512 (256).
2) All those packs you mentioned are addon packs, so you will need to contact the creators of those packs and get them to assist you.
3) default.cfg is a file that is evidently missing. Either just copy it from some other pack, or just do the following:
[A] Download THIS.
[B] Restart your PC
[C] Create a new folder somewhere where you want your game to be
[D] Right click on the folder -> SVN Checkout
[E] In the Repository URL field paste this: http://ZEQ2.com/SVN/Build
[F] Tick the option below Head Revision (It's called Revision) and enter 1536 as the number in the field given.
[G] Click okay and let it download.
[H] If it gives the error about hunkmegs, repeat step 1.
[I] Enjoy the game.
About the sparking meteor, I have no idea, contact the creator of the addon pack.

I am not sure if my advise will help but there must be some file in the configuration files which saves the video settings
If you happen to find that.. there must be 1028x768 set with 16:9 ratio (standard one for 19" montors these days)
You can try with 800x600 aspect ratio 4:3 and it should work (It not necessarily give you a fantastic clarity but the game will at least start)

My advice for the Sparking Meteor Problem with Safe Video Settings--which by the way is not just present with Sparking Meteor (for I have experienced it in the stable revision as well as the unstable revisions and addon packs)--is to start the game and answer "No" in the dialog box, then adjust the settings to a more acceptable setup.
This problem will stop occurring as long as you don't get a CTD (Crash To Desktop), and likely started as a result of the missing files in the addon packs.
I've had a lot of personal experience with these types of crashes, so I know the frustration you have.
