I can do without Call of Duty. It's the traditional medieval RPGs like The Legend of Zelda, Fable, and The Elder Scrolls I have trouble keeping away from.

I agree with Linkxp500

Sam is just a Duke Nukem ripoff down to the way the main character acts. But in the end they are all just copies of Doom and Wolf 3D. Unoriginal and boring after 25 years.

As for Cal of Duty that is by far the shittiest FPS I have seen in ages.

I played serious sam TSE. The graphics were not much good but I really loved the gameplay (like hunting down a lot of enemies with a lot of weapons).

The last game before Forever Manhattan Project was seen as on of the best games when it released.

Quite honestly I never liked brain dead shooters like that. As they barely require you to be awake while playing them and you'd still beat them.

Its fun for a few minutes, but doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over with an occasional boss battle that's pretty much more of the same thing, just takes longer gets dull.

Then again while I'm saying that the most played game in the world is still WoW which is pretty much the same stuff in that regard.

In any case I hope Sam fares better than the Duke did for his return, but I'm not holding my breath on it getting any awards from critics or gamers in general. And with gamer awards I mean sales.

Actually the PC version of Manhattan Project got a solid 8/10

it's the XboX version that got a 4/10 but I can't blame them since the controls are are made for mouse + keyboard use instead of a gamepad which probably makes you unable to hit anything in the game.

From some gameplay videos I've seen I gotta say this game is fun... for 12 minutes. It's so slam repetitive. You have to shoot monsters with extremely overpowered guns and that's pretty much everything. I can't really see any innovation

fine here is my opinion too

so what if its repetitive
so what if its unreal
so what if the guns are over powered,don't you need overpowered guns to fight off extra ordinary aliens

at the end some people maybe 1% of the world actually likes this stuff mostly because they want a break from
the current fps games

If it's repetitive it's boring.

The thing is, sure, this isn't a new FPS like fish MW3 (Ewww) but what's new? Fancy (mediocre) graphics? Wanna a break from current FPS games? Play Quake live, CSS, UT3, etc or their classic counterparts.

People say DNF is bad but this is Serious Same 3...

If it's repetitive it's boring.

well I just downloaded roadrash Again2 months ago and I didn't find it boring
I must have played it 10k times till now
I still play level 5 with the 2nd fastest bike

so its repetitive its boring only in your collection of unsupported data

I don't care if it's unreal or not, that ain't a bad thing.
And the extraordinary aliens thing would make sense if the aliens were super strong but they can't stand 3 slam bullets...

well there is "serious" and "mental" difficulty mode if you wanna use 10 shotgun bullets for 1 beheaded kamikaze
5-10 rockets for those huge 20 and 40 ft machines

I don't think you would survive that much "seriousness"
