Beta only 8 characters.
V2 48 character
V4 32 character
Final 42 character
Why final release only have 42 character and why everybody think Final is best gamepack ever.

F3 isn't even out yet guys . I think you mean F2 is balanced like trash, and it is..... Kudos to you Samcross for having so many characters, and keeping all of them balanced .
F2 and Sparking Meteor remain the best.

F2 is imbalanced. Sparking Meteor can currently be matched only by Fusion Edition 2 Gold.

*laughing out loud* I like Sparking meteor a lot also but how is F2 Imbalanced(did not play it yet). Also why SONICDBZFAN07 ON youtube say the Roster of final release is huge and its only 2 pages long and has 6 less character than V2.

Am I the only one who has never downloaded an addon pack and prefers Zeq2Lite as is?

the power lvls and stats are all different o match the anime but in a GAME it has to be balanced and fair so Goku can one shot krillin which is unfair to krillin fans and force you to pick stronger characters just so you can stay alive against a Vegeta
not very fun I like using whichever character I like

*intense laughter* What do power levels have to anything all they do is affect your 'speed' and nothing else.

I haven't tried any of the addon packs (or addons themselves); however, I do think that some of them contain diamonds in the rough that, if polished, could be up to SVN quality.
It's up to the authors of addons to really put the effort forward and TRY to contribute their work to the core project rather than continue on with their addon pack as a separate entity.

did you read? he changed stats too
stats affect EVERYTHING
the stats are these like a bunch of numbers that are too much to explain but you can overpower or underpower a player with it he changed those around too much and the game isn't balanced
understand?

Hey, those addon packs give us something fun to do to pass the time. Developing, planning, and playing with friends is indeed the kind of fun to have while waiting (for those of us who would rather wait for things to be done) for the next revision update.
Not saying addon packs are the way to go, but plenty of players would rather play with addon packs than the same old revision 1536.

Oh, and those power levels actually do nothing. They are mere numbers, and have no effect on the characters whatsoever.

[sigh] Yes, ssj6vegeta, the stats are what unbalances F2. I'm pretty sure you mentioned this. Now, go home and think about what it is you've done wrong.

My point is that the next revision update won't really come about without the contributions and advancement of such addon developers. As you are probably well-aware, there is no centralized development team working on ZEQ2-lite. If changes are desired to happen, the addon creators (like those from the addon packs) are the ones that need to make it so.
Not saying addon packs are the way to go, but plenty of players would rather play with addon packs than the same old revision 1536.
No one really should be playing anything at this stage -- especially not the later revisions. There are no real systems in place. It's merely slapped-together placeholder game mechanics. There's no scoring system. There's no per-match goals/objectives. The mêlée is glitchy and incomplete. The player/attack interactions are bugged and simplified. The defense system is not even present. The camera is archaic and unfinished. The list goes on.
Polish garbage all you'd like; it will still remain garbage. If you truly want change, you should push yourself and everyone to achieve more. Raise your standards of expectancy and refuse to settle for mediocrity!
This is the only way the project will climb to the heights it was destined to reach.

I don't intend to argue. In fact, I agree completely with you on this.
Though making the SVN public would increase the chances of better development opportunities, it doesn't guarantee the said opportunities. Addon creators like NELLO!! have talent, but lack patience or desire to create quality addons in place of quantity.
We aren't going to find a multitude of people like TRL, Acaryus, Hoodjuro, Mima, and Domitjen who are all about quality and are into Dragon Ball Z. There are plenty of people in the world that could fit into this role, but the majority aren't likely to discern what ZEQ2-Lite is.
I think the name is hard to connect with Dragon Ball Z, and may be why I never heard of the the term ZEQ/ZEQ2/ZEQ2-Lite. I would search Google with the keywords "Dragon Ball Z 3D online game," and ZEQ2-Lite would have been passed up if it were not for RealDeal's yolasite link.
I am not suggesting to change the name of the project, since what's done is done. But I feel the need to express concern for the lack of contributions because of this inconvenience; clever, unique, but inconvenient.
