well I thought of a seris called
DragonBall:Saiyans
and it would be about this......
Goku comes back from training with shenron,and he decides that he should wish his dad and vegetas father
(Bardock and king Vegeta)
and then once that's done Bardock,well.................I don't know the rest

The problem with that idea is. The dragonballs can not bring anyone back to life who has been dead for over a year.
As for my own version. Id probably go with a total restart of the series. None of that über powerful stuff that's been going on in Dragon Ball Z.
More like the start of Dragonball with a new cast and son on with multiple relevant characters instead of the main good guy who always wins and the main bad guy whos stronger than anyone else, while the other characters provide cannon fodder.
