Yes sometimes in the anime they look like this (upper 2 refs you posted) but do you really believe that's an improvement?

Not so.Why? Because from Buu saga shading and color of skin chagening 
But I think what this is the best example of skin as for me

That's a little blinding. Also the color for skin/hair/clothes weren't 100% consistent in the anime, so I think you should look up some more refs and meet in the middle with the colors.
Also don't use refs from the remastered sets...the colors are too bright and there's too much contrast. Try Dragon Box....it's better than most.

I think what for on state it's really good but we need code what can change texture from one texture to another than you use Tab....

I'd say this is quite an improvement just for the simple fact that its quite a bit closer the the actual color palate used in the series, I don't really like the weird super dark shading in most of the Super Saiyan models that have been "green-lighted" byt the team in comparison to this, they just make everyone look metallic, not being harsh or anything just slightly critical.

One last thing, people also seem to forget that a lot of the shading in the series was "somewhat" dependent on the lighting around them, not just their aura. Zat is all from me, can't wait to see what's next.

I don' see a lot of difference ..and the skin actually is way too pale.. too much white trust me.. 
you should find another thing to touch ..for me.. and don't touch these things already done months ago..
the Super Saiyan we have is already pale.. but like you did is too too pale.. in Super Saiyan skin there is the pink as shadow.. white as light middletone pink light very light
and the shadow a kind pink..
