He's actually using sprite clouds as far as I know on top of the standard map fogging (which is supposed to simulate atmospheric scattering but cannot fully due to the lack of skybox exclusion). What you see of "vertical fog" is actually just the animated sprite texture of a cloud passing by.

These long shadows suggest some kind of morning or evening setting, while the sky color clearly does not. It would need a low sun and some pink shades to the sky.

Contribution are things that are accurate to series - his map is good but you can't see it anywhere in the series
In other words its same map as crysis map - it doesn't have anything to do with actual Dragon Ball Z series so it can't be contributed
