It's humorous that you all get giddy over simple gradient shading bands. As far as ZEQ2-lite is concerned, you should always stick to a simple stepped-shaded version for the SVN.
Anty, try adjusting cg_outlinesSmooth to 0 to remove the strange scene blended artifacts surrounding the head and other parts. I guarantee it'll improve your screenshot quality (especially in the chin area).

well... the most important here is the model (Toebi1987 chair, AnTycrisT ingame stuff), anyway I'm always changing the shading effects in my characters to make something "new"...

I already put that but it says "unknown cmd cg_outlinesSmooth"...

It's perfectly fine, Anty. It might be nice to show both versions next to each other though at least to appease everyone. There's nothing wrong with releasing alternative shading versions, of course. I'm just saying that the SVN version should still remain anime-accurate for now.
If you really want to start trying new things, you should try to get into vertex animations for editing things like facial expressions (which a lot of characters are missing) or things like custom character animations (which I think you have dabbled with a little lately).
I already put that but it says "unknown cmd cg_outlinesSmooth"...
Doh. Sorry. Typo. r_outlinesSmooth 0, I mean.

well... I was planning release two or three different shading effect in each character, something kind of like Goku (normal default, emblem Goku), but... nothing, I will release them in that way, one with the shading like in the cartoon/anime, another one with the realistic shading and the last one with a customized shading...
EDIT:
mêlée idle:
top view:
like you can see he have his legs and he is in a very good posision on the chair...
okay, the character is already finish, I will put the download link in moddb.com, of course I will send the other link to Toebi1987 so... he can play/check the character ingame before... sorry if he take to much time but I'm searching for a new home so... anyway I hope you liked... and I already upload two pictures to moddb.com, I hope Zeth didn't get mad for that hahaha
READ CAREFULLY:
I will release a demo version, because the new animations will take sometime, anyway you can enjoy this demo character while I finish the complete one... I will release him in three versions, normal shading (the one from normal ZEQ2-lite frieza), realistic shading (the one of those pictures) and customized (something kind of like gokuCell)...
LAST EDIT:
the three shading effects:
normal:
realistic:
customized:

There's some shoulderpad clipping on the current rig. Also, you forgot to set r_outlinesSmooth to 0! Aside from that, the three shading styles seem fine. I'd certainly not label the middle one as "realistic" as I explained before; it's definitely a soft multiplicative gouraud (or blended gouraud if you'd prefer). The third style could look much better if you used the ambient color of the sky in the scene (for instance, make it a very light green/blue for that Namek map).
True relistic shading appreciates things like specular, ambient lighting, color bleeding, and a number of other things that ZEQ2-lite is not capable of producing.
Keep up the good work though.

TRL already said that...
Zeth, thanks, oh and I forgot put that hahaha (r_outlinesSmooth 0)...
okay, I will release it with normal and realistic shading (I know it's not "realistic" Zeth but I already put that name in the default)... anyway I already upload the character, I will send it to Toebi1987 right now and the other users have to wait the moddb.com release...
