man the lock thing isn't a trick, you just can lock on ground or on air, switching those 2 is just a good strategie. Learn how to fight goddamit

Wrong, the lock has nothing to do with it. My unique part is my Speed, If you can't keep up with me, you won't hit me. Easy like that.

it's not a cheap trick, other people locks off as well, And still I'm able to catch them. Soulz has learned me how to do free aim without the lock and still hit them.

These tricks such as forcing the other player to lock off, healing mid-jump, and so forth, while I agree can be considered "cheap", it's the only way to play well now.

After playing this game for a while you do end up figuring out tricks that makes it easier for you to defeat opponents. They may end up using the same tricks, so you find out ways to counter those tricks, etc. etc. etc.

Having to play like this all the time, it feels very restricting to purposely "limit" yourself to not using these tricks, it just blends in with your style of playing.

This is why I'm waiting till Public Beta 2 is released to get back into playing ZEQ2-lite a lot, because hopefully all (or most) the 'cheap tricks' will be removed and it will feel more like a Dragonball Z game .

As it is, though, I say, if people's cheap tricks are getting discomforting, then fight fire with fire and use some of your own!

It is a bit lacking that when someone locks off you, you lock off too....In dragonball z if Goku stopped looking at an enemy and walked away he wouldn't go "what the heck where did he go!?"
