Finally someone to cover my back. Thanks a lot Brad, I appreciate it.

We knew them from the start and they were good intentions we know.
But just because you put in effort you want to force your will and put it up in any case. And that's your ego getting in the way.

yeah it's for my ego that I want more people..makes a lot of sence, I really get a kick from such things. This certainly wasn't a unselfish action where I spend my free time in to help certain people.
yeah...

They don't need to be the most famous.
It takes a single 12 year old to post a "OH MY GOODNESS GUYS YOU NEED TO SEE THIS" thread on a monitored official forum with such a trailer and a link to this site and it's done.
Nobody questions that higher popularity might attract more developers etc., but as Zeth said, it's a double-edged sword. I've never heard about DBZBabe and Chromegloss so I wouldn't know about their target audience. But it doesn't look like it's necessarily one followed by a lot of talented developers and more like the 12 year olds mentioned above. The fact that DBZBabe has secondary accounts does look like she's already being monitored and had stuff taken down previously too.
Don't get angry about people telling you to be careful.

Don't simplify, your intentions were altruistic yes, but the fact that you want to see the results of your work even if it could harm the project isn't.

there is a difference between having your youtube account taken cause you upload footage directly from Dragon Ball Z dvds or have a game taken down. But I would like to lay it a rest now cause I really have no further intention's debating this. Zeth's last post speak for his own.
@Void, really appreciate the comparisation between me and a 12 year old kid.
But I would appreciate it if we lay it a rest right now. I really don't

I didn't compare you to a 12 year old, that 12 year old was an example of what's probably the average follower of those channels.
And yup having a channel taken down has nothing to do with ZEQ2 Lite either, I never said that. What I did say was that according to this http://www.youtube.com/user/TheDBZbabe Toei already has an eye on her, so you might as well send the trailer to them directly and ask if they're okay with what the team is doing.

Dbzbabe won't upload it, she will merely favorite it on her channel page. Reading something through may actually pay off.
it's chromegloss who will upload the thing. But the fact that dbzbabe favorite's it will give us some fair share of views as well.
But as Zeth said:

Sooner or later, ZEQ2 will get in the TOEI`s eyes anyway.
I don`t know the rules of copyright, but why would they do that ? Isn`t this project legal at all ?

You can continue replying as much as you want and try to argue over minor details. I know she'll only put it on favorite. But does it matter? It'll have the same effect as an upload.
I never told you to stop either, I just don't think it's a smart move and I do have experience with situations such as this while you have made it quite obvious that you don't even understand what we're talking about. If you want to ignore our advise, do it.
EDIT:
Yes, but the later it happens the better it is. They can't stop what's already released.
And it doesn't even matter if this project is legal. Can you afford arguing about it in front of court? And as it is right now there's copyrighted music and sound effects used here, not even only a case of character similarities.

of course not, never noticed when you press G and Goku says " you aren't like the other guys are you " that it is sean schemmel voice from funimation? That alone could bring the project down. What I'm doing here won't make any difference at all.

Well, you are just making things go faster.
Why would you guys spend all this time making a game that TOEI might close down ? Isn`t there any option to pay a tax or just mention something like ''fan-made'' that won`t disturb them ?
Someone call Akira as soon as possible !

Yeah I would prefer if this project would become popular on it's right time. When enough good content is already released.

In the hope that they don't :p
but ZEQ2 has been shutted before and yet we're alive, so I'm not very afraid.

Of course you can license it, that is if Ubisoft or whoever the current license holder is backs out of it and/or their contract expires and you're the highest bidder.
And to answer your first question:
Most devs I know do it for the fun developing something and not to get popular with teenagers. As such it's not to important to actually release or get popular. That's more like a bonus, most of the fun comes from learning and the overall experience of creating a game, even if you never play it.
And What do you mean with clean? The only people at risk are those that are distributing the game, which in this case would be Zeth and/or Dave so in the end something like this is their decision anyway.
Oh and if you want to see how fast something can get shut down, start something Star Wars. Usually doesn't survive more than a week.

Why the heck would them close this?

Because it's competition to commercial games and may hurt their sales or those of their partners.
Companies pay millions to be able to legally use the names of soccer players (fifa series). So now someone comes along and uses them in a free game without paying anyone, that's a huge monetary loss for a lot of people including organizations (fifa, uefa, etc), clubs and even players.
It's not only in EA's interest to stop this as the licensee but also in the interest of the FIFA as license holder because else next year EA won't pay them anymore either since they can just as well use it for free.

What`s up with the teenage obsession ?
Of course I was asking if it is clean because I do care about this community and it`s creators. I`m asking before doing this because I don`t wanna put anyone on fire just because TOEI saw a youtube trailer.
About star wars, I don`t have a clue of what you want to say.

toei can't shut a game, funimation can, worst thing that could happen is that the trailer is gone, don't worry
