I'm better than Buksna and I'm not in the rankings, I mean, things change and not just because it is written is true to say that, people who play this game are better every day and become more aware of many things and that makes them better, and not by that means cheating, and that is what he is saying jaguar

That doesn`t matter, morally I won. It was a tourney, officially or not.

@anti : you have no clue about what you are talking.

I can make a vid and show everyone how I can hack like that, I`ve found it this morning and tested it with mima, it works.

Nope, I don`t have ego or at least a very bit. I don`t care who is better then me, domitjen was better then me before, Buksna too.

I trained and now I`m very good. That`s why I cannot tolerate fighting someone that uses edited characters.

If someone is better then me, I accept it, I love fighting good people. But when someone uses hacks that makes me angry.

first of all you can blame this on the game creator
if the files were not so easy to edit non of this Bread and Spaghetti would have happened

an even if Buksna doesn't use I guarantee at least 1 pro player uses it

I won't use it because I don't like opening notepad

You're making this to simple.

It's always a fine line between allowing custom content and preventing cheats/exploits. Also keep in mind that this is still beta 1.

You could hardcode everything in this game which would completely eliminate user addons but ensure that the game is as fair as possible w/o relying on stuff like punkbuster, warden or gameguard.

Then you'd not be able to have any custom characters though.

Additionally it doesn't seem like ZEQ2 Lite is intended for really balanced competetive gameplay AS OF RIGHT NOW anyway.

That'd pretty much require a full time game designer making up tons of formulas for each character, attribute and attack and requires the weapon physics system to impose hard limits on attacks. (Example: The first attack can have 10 attribute points, so a total damage of 8 for example and a firing rate of 2, while the ultimate attack can have 50 points and thus a lot higher damage etc)

None of this exists in the sourcecode right now and that's really nothing you would work on during an early beta either.
