well I read every Frequently Asked Questions here and I found only the rock who is more useful for a desert map and the palm its from TRL so thanks for release

Try to vary the size of the rock and the orientation at which you place it.
About the texture, try to find one that doesn't tile into those lines. This is especially unwanted for the ground.

Well it's kind of a joke, because it's not hard at all to add models to a map, yet noone seems to do it. So you don't have to be clever to do it. But you would be wise to, because it livens up an otherwise dull map, placing some props here and there.

I need a sky texture like in landing map night version just with a rocky area background if someones wanna do it for me PM me
That's actually accomplished with a 3D skybox (actual models and not just a texture). Ask Baldwin to write up a guide on this process in his set of tutorials and I'm sure he'd be glad to help out!
Also, your map would get a huge boost in visualization if you bake in some lightmaps for shadow depth. With a few tricks, you could also pull off an animated tumbleweed or wind/dust streak effect.

I added a crater (don't look at the textures from the Saiyan pot
or something I'm not an artist! and I'm not a good modeller

so any one doesn't want my desert
beta version will contain 3dskybox the same like in cellgames
final version will be redone/recreated and it will have more hide and seek places
jeah you can hide in this current map very good!
I don't know why but netradiant causes textures errors It shows me only the basic color from my textures without any details *laughing out loud*!!
to compile the map it took me an half hour!
after release you can use this map as something like a preview from the Public Beta 2 desert map since I tried to made it in the same way
offtopic: if someone is asking what avatar I'm currently using , its vincent valentine from dirge of cerberus: I'm kind of final fantasy fan

The map looks kind of solid. You need a bit more adding to it.

dam we get a illusion and no detail in textures unlike landing texture , we can still tell the differenec in theh land but how can we do that in our maps ?

okay guys the map is ready for beta but now I got a dammm problem-.-
hope someone can tell me what I did wrong!!

the maps shows only the basic color from my textures
the sky texture is wrong also -.- man I really wanted to release today but now because that trash it can't -.-
I diditn found any error in my shader
in my way I tihnk netradiant is the problem
