it will be hard to do 5v5 ,until it will be organizated...

I say let's do 1v1 I mean every team chooses 5 of their players, and they will fight other players.
for example

|SIN|Skkyper vs |TSW|ssj6vegeta and there will be 3 matches , 1 only mêlée , and 2 with everything.

that's how clan wars in Earth Special Forces were played. Usually the best people would take on 2 or 3 people alone in a 10 VS 10 fight, leaving room for the weaker players to double team the opponents.

First team to 50 or so kills wins the match. Was quite fun and chaotic. Though I don't really see that happening with the current mêlée system in ZEQ2 lite. It leaves you to be stuck in one position allowing stuff like "Ill hold him in place with mêlée and you charge a bigass attack" Which in itself is also a form of teamplay I guess ^^

Hi,
I understand that this clan tournament will be on a closed server.
But is there a way we can spectate the matches?
I ask because this would be a good learning experience. You can even disable comments in the console for spectators.
Basically I'm asking a way for non clan members (players who are not tournament participants but audience members) to enter into the server directly as spectators, for not everyone will respectfully type "/team spectate" in the console. (they may instead try to sabotage the tournament)

free for all I say , bust open each others , have frag limits, the team that gets all members out of the server by deathh limit first looses

you can spectate. open console(press button under escape key(~)) and type /team spectator and press enter

You are talking the term clan war in a totally wrong light.

The point is a match between clans. (though a 3 way clan war doesn't seem like a bad idea). The battlefield is divided into the game and the rules of engagement. Be it 1 on 1 duels or a free for all slaughter house. Its still a clan war.

The rules are accepted by all participants before the start of the battle. And you can think of the rules in the same light as the Geneva convention. They are the law that you must respect within that battlefield.

So regardless if its a FFA or a 1 on 1 duel set it all depends on the Geneva convention of said clan encounter.


Now back on topic of the clan war itself. Why don't you do what Earth Special Forces clans did back in the day when there actually were active Earth Special Forces clans that had wars. Have someone record it and then upload it to the web for all to see.
