Yeah there are bound to be. But I mean generally girls aren't interested in gaming unless it's the sims or Wii fit. From my experience anyway..

Well there doesn't need to be a correlation between being hot and playing/modding a game because you like to.

(I recently saw a supermodel on deviant art who says she likes playing mass effect and modern warfare. Don't know how true that is though)

Fact is when you see the video feeds of most gaming conventions there's always some "hot" girl who interviews the developers and makes a complete a$$ of herself. Like the models they have on cars at the autoexpo's and countless billboards and adverts, its just to bring attention to a product.

I want to change that, have girls come forward and level the playing field, not be pin ups. Its happening in many places.

(one of starcrafts top players is a girl and so is Alienslof, an excellent modder of TES4 oblivion.)

But yes it does seem like there are fewer girls asociating themselves with ZEQ-2.

Oh, so you've heard of AlienSlof too She pulled out of modding for Oblivion, and doesn't plan to continue modding for Skyrim, but she does have her mods on her site at Slof's Lair. She currently only mods for Minecraft now.

Actually, AlienSlof was very good at modding, though she tended to make skimpy outfits for males. But her greatest contribution in my opinion was her Roberts Male Body V5, which nearly everyone uses. It was so much better than the default Oblivion body. She really did make a difference in the community, though there were some fearsome creatures, flamers, and uninformed participators that finally got her to leave TESNexus.com, calling her g@why for her mods, thinking she was a guy. There was another modder who made a different male body, who was openly g@why, so that's probably how they associated that with her.

I know, I gave up on pin-up looking girls a long time ago. Some women need to do the same with meathead men though. Besides, even if you manage to end up with a hot girl, the relationship is meaningless outside of sex. Which is why I wait for marriage, besides the fact that I'm a Jehovah's witness. I've talked to a lot of slutty women in the past, and they're just irritating once you put hormones aside.

Most of my city's (sought after by meat-heads) female population that's interacted with me are by and large pretty daft. You should see how the they flirt with the meat-heads. Revolting animals...
None the less they're all in arranged marriages for money and social status, so good riddance.

Godsakes how many times do I have to reiterate,

I'm just going to be blunt. Why does it even matter? I mean sure it'll be nice all kinds of audiences enjoyed this, but why go out of your way to see if you can ensure they do? I'd rather just know if there are women who play this and end it at that? Do whatever you want, I can't control you.

Well I was just wondering if having a notable female presence might bring a unique element to this game (like AlienSlof and many other girls did with TES4 oblivion)

I must admit I am looking at this more from a modding standpoint but then I guess ZEQ2lite needs to develop a lot further (even gameplay wise) before it can be related to in different (male/female) perspectives.

Like I said the conversation came up on the servers and I thought I'd clear it out on the forums. All in the nature of a sensible discussion.

Oh, I must've overlooked your true purpose for this discussion. You are right, however, just because there are women who are good at modding games, like AlienSlof for example, does not mean there aren't any good male modders as well. I'm not criticizing you or anything. I understand it's natural to wonder things like that; heck I've done it too! But I usually like to know various things just to be informed about it. I'd rather stick to my strengths, which do not include successful argument, than to try things that I would have next to no chance to succeed. I pay attention to detail, but I'm no good at using that to create my own art. I suppose you must pay good attention to detail and are able to create excellent results.

Jayreezy, I have the same feeling sometimes if I hang out at a place with only men. I didn't mean to insult him, I made a mistake, sorry. But I haven't seen more than 10 people on this site at a time, so I'm kind of curious as well who actually uses these forums.

Hey Link,

like I said its still too early to tell what the modding/gameplay scene will be like when we get the final version of ZEQ2-lite.
Who know's maybe it'll have RPG elements and a storyline (sagas).

I've noticed that most games girls play (and mod) have some user customization involved in the game's UI itself, (like making your own character. etc.)

And w.are.t to my artwork, well I'm making the |ERS| clan a banner and logo so you'll see some examples soon enough.

Though I am more into 3D, so a lot of my attention to detail is in the normal maps and textures and I do quite a bit of VFX work as well
Also if you need any help with say using Photoshop, Maya, Zbrush.etc let me know!

Postscript - Keep working on your art and you'll get better (though I haven't seen your present artwork yet).
And I didn't take that post as an insult!
