Look the best way to learn something is to get a few basics and then mess with it. And if you are watching a video that you don't understand, then you don't know a thing to begin with. You are just copying the video without any idea what's actually going on.

That aside there is enough translation software and good enough translation software to at least give you an idea what the tutorial is about.
