Please support your crits by overlapping them in Photoshop over refs from the episodes instead of making drawovers since the latter is biased by personal perception and memory. Also keep in mind, the various refs posted here and others you may have seen while making the comparison since there are conflicting refs, so we have sort of average it.
Anyways talking about the head size, while it varies among the refs, I think it can be due to the tilting of head. So I decided to go with the larger size which would represent a horizontal view, while the smaller size would be there when the character bends his neck.
While making more morph targets, I decided to an accuracy test and this is the result.(Note the background was photoshopped to get rid of the original hair only).

Yeah like the others said, the hair could use some more polies.
But I like that expression, well done mate!
One thing on your previous expression sheet. The eyebrows still had angry wrinkles even in their happy state. To really get the right angry and happy expressions you need to have texture swaps adding these details.

The number of polys in the hair are sufficient. I just hadn't setup the morph for the hair! (Only face)

More updates!
There are no textures used anywhere except the eyes, which means the model can use the textureless approach(posted by Skatter) as well
Don't forget the model isn't rigged, so certain parts may look weird and the tail has been clipped on the right view.

The body's looking very nice niels. I can't really say anything besides the feet need some more heels and the fore arms from the side look much thinner than they do from the front.
From 3/4 perspective I suspect that his neck is shaped weirdly because I see a lump of skin lower than where it should be. Only the angle of the cheekbone at the ears should be visible and the neck should flow to the center of the bottom of the head.
The hair, instantly from 3/4 I had the feeling that he was suffering some bald spots. Try to make more spikes on the side show up in that view.
-That thin spike needs to be a lot thicker and a little less long (I have the feeling you are focusing on that one ref too much).
-At the side, the hair should start in front of the ears, not behind them. His hair is receding way too far back to the top too.
Also from the side his forehead looks too flat and his mouth should be more pronounced. Basically his mouth and chin should be a little more in front from the nose.
The nose should be also rounded from the side not only the front.
Good progress niels! Just study the side views in these refs and you'll be fine.
These sprites are ever so helpful too because they're so consistent! Just zoom them in in Photoshop if you have trouble seeing. In fact this would be a perfect reference for animations too.

Alright. Done with texturing and also edited the model according to your crits and refs provided
So now this is where I stop. I'll provide you all with the blend file and textures to see what you all can come up with and I hope you put it to good use.
I share it under I don't really take fondly to that idea (I don't care) license so you are free to use it however you like, without even giving proper credits!

You won't have a crack at animating it niels? That's a shame.
