yep I have still on PlayStation 2 the same DVD rom not original from 2005 and he still work Laughing is also ruined that dvd rom.. Laughing

anyway try to use the PNG for that skybox, you are always using blendfunc blend option in the shader I think ..is better the PNG file for the skybox I think.. the TGA less quality making weird outline(bettween paint and transparence) ingame..

NEVER use references or try to strive for replicating another Dragon Ball Z game when considering ZEQ2[lite]. This is almost always the wrong path to take. Dragon Ball Z Commercial games tend to try and embed extra details that simply do not exist in their anime counterparts. What looks good isn't the same as what is accurate. The perception of good/bad will vary from person to person. The concept of accuracy is always¹ persistent though. This is why ZEQ2 exists in the first place! Don't try and make it just like every other Dragon Ball Z concept out there tainted by creative embellishments.

Even though it's just a mockup, your current landing set features textures that are far too contrasting, spastic, and overall dark in tone. From the pre-uncut references I have from years back, I see no mention of a dirt road on any of the rolling hills either (although that doesn't mean it didn't exist in the uncut reels).



The current map on the SVN may have texture/shading/detail complications, but the one thing that IS correct about it is the layout. The hills, dirt patches, tree/rock/forest placements ALL are all based on references. Not a single dirt patch, grass section, or rock is EVER placed unless we can be 100% sure it exists EXACTLY where it's supposed to be in the map in the series.



For now, I'd probably stay focused on your Hyperbolic Time Chamber map (which looks near completion). You should strongly consider coming to IRC so different elements of presentation can be discussed for the maps to reach their maximum potential (in both ZEQ2 and ZEQ2-lite).

they don't take them from the anime. They emulate the anime backgrounds really well by making their OWN textures in the right resolution. Those trees are 3D by the way, very similar to the ones in last stand.
