WELL I'd say BUY A PlayStation 3 A LOT people SAY THAT PlayStation 3 IS BETTER THAN XBOX AND PlayStation 3 CONTROLLER IS EASIER TO USE THAN XBOX

PlayStation controllers are not exactly user friendly... you'd have to be more than a casual gamer to play on a PlayStation decently.
Konan is right, it IS too small. It also has a terrible grip, unlike Xbox and Nintendo controllers.

Yeah but look at N64 controllers, you had to have 3 hands to play those.

Actually, you never use more than 2 of the grips. If there is any game that requires all 3 grips at the same time, I've never known of its existence.

PlayStation 3 is better for single player as well as multiplayer , PlayStation 3 has allot more to offer
1: exclusives are better
2: free online
3: move is allot more accurate than kinect if that's what you want
4: it might not be hacked as easily but its worth it
next gen is not coming any time soon , heck PlayStation 2 is still alive in public

Free doesn't always mean better. 
But I do agree that the PlayStation 2 still has some fight left. My family recently sold our PlayStation 2 in the first half-hour of a garage sale, along with most of the games.
And a friend of my sister's had just gotten an N64 for Christmas. *intense laughter*
I guess some people appreciate ancient consoles more than others.

I got a 2mb connection and I BARELY experience lag
and for above , PlayStation 3 controller is easier to use , x box is too confusing , people are seriously being biased on that one , though I agree with esfer PC for the win!
by the way I'm not being biased , I dislike consoles to be honest , each and every one of them
