That actually keeps most deformations from happening because they still translate the vertices + the scale you added just fine.


JayReezy is correct, TRL. Scaling full limbs is a better solution than partially scaling unless you plan on reworking your uvmaps (as there will be uv distortion/stretching). A uniform scale will not produce such results.

The aura on state isn't fixed yet, but Brad is working on it.


Not working on it yet. It still needs more discussion. Anyone can apply a quick fix to give you an alternate skin file when using the aura, but as we've discussed this would require a lot of skin file duplication and intermixing.

A GLSL program or variable shader keywords are better ideas.

just what he was thinking ... I congratulate Zeth great idea ..
because when the state is off the aura shading is correct .. but when it loads the aura shading is incorrect. because you use that for the aura off ..

then GLSL shading is for when the character has aura?
I am very happy if we can get the result in this way .. Very Happy Very Happy

in the shader file there are this code GLSL..

if this code work.. I will create very soon the new shading file.. Wink

I'm talking about moving vertices in order to scale limbs, no actual scale tool is used in the process. It's the only way not to have distortions.

Looking good, but the hair currently has a very faceted appearance. You should work on adjusting your smoothing groups to create a softer look.

an old project for ZEQ2-lite, I was working on this long, long time ago, the point of this is create a new mêlée team battle or doble beam attacks, is still in progress because the character have to many bugs right now but I will fix all that issues to make it almost perfect:

The hair is fantastic. I think it should be in the SVN as Super Saiyan hair. All you need I think, is to smooth out the faces because they show when the aura is on.
