finally some sense talk, now do you get my point Buksna
and it will be not possible for them not to care if Earth Special Forces goes down as 10 years of hard work was put into it
As said they can try to remove stuff, but what's already on the net will stay there. So in essence they can't really stop something that's out.

Do you even read what I post?!?!?!
I said AFTER release - so when something gets released those years of hard work "pay off"
Grega is Earth Special Forces dev and he's been explaining to you whole time too and you're still on some freaking idea that isn't true and doesn't make sense

first of all I am not confused
I will never believe that nothing can be done after post release
seriously other things can be done other than searching da game on the net and removing it and I don't want to give you examples on what they can do with da game and its devs

Even if the main site is taken down and the devs stop development further. The released game is still on the web being distributed by third party individuals who can not be directly targeted. Neither can the devs because they followed the order and stopped. So the only choice left is to go all over the net deleting all files of that release that pup up.
And doing that would cost a lot more than to simply let it be. They can not eradicate a released project unless they delete it from every hard drive that has it stored in the world.
Or are you saying they can punish a group of people that did exactly what was requested of them for something other people do?

okay forget that
anyway I just want to say that I hope nothing happens to the Earth Special Forces team or the devs after the release of the game
I don't care if anything happens to the game only bothered about the people who work for the Earth Special Forces team

Actually if I'm understanding what you are "suggesting", yes, you can be held responsible.
Hypothetically if Earth Special Forces got a Cease & Desist and then the final Earth Special Forces build was leaked/stolen/obtained in ANY way, the Earth Special Forces team would be the ones responsible for damages and legal persuit (regardless of how much they detest it was out of their hands). Not only is it how the law works, it's actually already been attempted as a release route in several similar desist cases to no avail.
Don't mislead yourself into believing it's a viable and non-punishable strategy.
As far as the current release set goes, nothing could be done beyond requested site removal of all infringing material and full cooperation concerning resource and distribution outlets for the project.
Again, that's all in the event of a hypothetical situation. What they have legal rights to do and what they would/should/will do are two entirely different matters.

No Zeth. That would be pre release not post release. Yes if thy shut down a mod before the release its done for, but they can not effectively shut it down after the release.
So taking Earth Special Forces as an example. Yes they can shut down Earth Special Forces:Final, but they can not shut down Earth Special Forces 1.2.3 anymore, nor can they hold any of us accountable for that version of the mod. The most they can do with 1.2 is have it removed from our site, yet they can not erase it from the net.

The videos uploaded to various sites already can not be erased anymore. They are out. We can only remove them from sources we control, but we do not control all sources.
that's the entire point of the discussion.

I don't like the graphics, but I do like the gameplay/new tricks Like Piccolo charging special beam cannon when a16 is hitting Vegeta, or krillin charging his Kienzan when Goku is holding Vegeta (like I would like to see in ZEQ2Lite)
