I am saying that this compressed file he is intending to upload is a standalone pack, in which all the files in the archive work fine with each other, but not with any other files. So make a new directory for this pack.

I did one crappy addon pack with poor texture and stuff, I learned from my mistake and started something cleaner with better textures new characters made by me and even made my own map(pretty sad to see no one release one those days). And I didn't launch a trend, there were plenty of packs available when I made mine.
And I'm sorry but I won't do awesome quality add-on, I wish I could but I seriously don't have enough time.
