You have a twisted view if you think acting like this isn't part of what's wrong with the community. Disciplining you is moderating; you've been behaving inappropriately for a while, and you're finally getting what you're asking for.
You should be the last person to be moderating people in the forum. If we decided to take a ratio of your negative posts to your positive posts, we would get... a division by zero error!
On a serious note, let the actual mods handle this and do something worthwhile for the community (to which you wish to render your services by moderating TRL.) All my posts in this thread have been positive, so your math is flawed. Also, I don't see where I'm trying to moderate but okay.
Again, I don't see where I'm trying to moderate, so instead of trying to defend your best buddy TRL, you should carefully read our posts. Do something worthwhile for the community? Boy am I glad I'm not going to have to work with you in the future.

The whole fact that you only come up with this community altering talk when the focus is on me, blatantly shows that you are not trying to positively affect anything.
But don't worry I don't expect you to understand your own actions. To you they are just impulses that you can't help but follow to firmly fixate my position as bad guy so you seem more like a good guy. That by definition is brown nosing. You always jump to it, when there's a high profile person who's reputation you can diminish (thinking about Baldwin here), just because you can't up yours by own merit.
So in that sense I fully agree with Niels and not just because he's my "best buddy". I don't think we have to make a poll here on who thinks you contribute positively to this community.
