everyone deserves to get out of poverty
everyone needs a chance to prove themselves
if we don't try to give poverty stricken people a chance they will just take up odd jobs or do crimes like robbery, theft murder, etc which will directly affect the upper class only.even though they get caught they will get arrested but sadly life cannot be recovered after crimes
edit-yes but also there are fakers

This is exactly my point. There are those that are in poverty just because they failed to prove themselves productive enough to support themselves and/or others. I don't deny in the least that there are people so far worse off than me. I don't believe everyone should get the same benefits, however, if they do not take their chance to benefit others.
I understand I am on the borderline of social acceptability here. All I am saying is that there are some "fakers" as RealDeal said. Those are very common where I am, so I can't say the same for other nations or areas. But you must understand that I am skeptical of strangers because, as you may have heard, "You can't judge a book by its cover."
Those youths that are kidnapped may not realize that they are in terrible conditions, and may not have a problem with it. As I am being close-minded, you people also have no idea what could go on in the heads of an actual victim until you become one of them.
I told you I don't like people being victimized, so Why do you think I mean that the innocent should deserve poverty? I don't wish poverty for anyone, but some deserve it, just for them to learn a life lesson, and be able to steer their offspring in the right direction. Crime IS a side effect of poverty for some, but there are others who still abide by the law. Those people I respect, and those people I believe should get another chance.
I may not know what poverty is like, but I do have a conscience, as well as integrity. I hold myself to the same high standards as I hold to everyone else. I don't believe in giving handicaps to anyone besides those that are "less intellectually gifted" than most.
I don't know why all of you think that I would slam every person in poverty just because they have no money. I am not heartless. If I see effort, I assist them; if I see plain ignorance and laziness, I walk right past. I don't sway to some occasional begging, because I honestly don't have an idea what they will do with it, or whether they really are poor and take advantage of others.
I don't like pain, but I also don't like dishonesty or laziness far more than that.
