tag team is really no good..
unless there are specific rules against ki ball/special beam cannon, kamehameha.. someone when they are in mêlée..

Not tag team. Just make it 3 on 3 allout. I don't see what the problem is with that? You are both with 3 people, the best strategy wins. If that's singling out a certain person with ki blasts, so be it. The other team can do just the same.

How about one of each character.

3 on 3 tournament it is!
Rules
Everyone has to be a differnet character in other words, 1 Piccolo, 1 Goku ,1 Raditz
A demo must be provided
Once a player has lost they are out and they must spectate.
All attacks are allowed
Use startegies(have a player ki blast another while antoher najeebs him (special beam cannon kill)
If you guys can think of other rulse post them so I can put up the real thread!

1.Fast kick from not obeying the rules!
2.No team killing!
3.No offensive language if someone lost!
4.Worshiping me !
5.No Domitjen  !
6.No overwhelming ki spam (Yes you Zielan the Frog)
7.And try to not najeeb too much.

1)No Spirit Bomb spamming(most important).
2)No Special Beam Cannon while people are chatting.
3)No boost jumping.(Which I always did... *laughing out loud*)
4)No use of bugs like: attacking opponent while he's struggling, etc.

Pre Final Rules
1) No Spirit Bomb Spamming (You know the difference between spamming and not spamming.)
2) Each player on each team should be a different character. No 2 people on the same team can have the same character. But if your person who is Piccolo dies you can change to Piccolo.(This will make the game more interesting)
3)Chat kills are okay (no reason to talk in battle)
4) If you really must "*be right back*" , you are disqualified and your teamates must fight without you(note that when you are back you cannont rejoin the fight)
5)A demo must be provided form at least one of the fighters.
6)If your name is Domitjen you can only use Raditz. Actually if your name is Domittjen I think you shouldn't join.
7) Try not to get bugged because bug kills are okay too( I feel this will come to haunt me)
GENERAL RULES
- Once you die, your out.
- You must defeat the entire team to win
- You must press f1 at least once in the demo
- If we suspect addons the Team may be disqualifed.
- Landing Map Only
- No G_running
- No use of bugs
- No boring fights
This seems like the best list of rules.
I will not enter this tournament. I will act as the overseer. Maybe if I BEG to one of the devs they can put like teamchamp under your name are something for the prize I don't know.

Inspite 2 on 2 will rock \m/ .. because the opponents will be more clear and decisions can be taken properly

by the way Shane bugs count?
a bug is nobody faults, thus it's not allowed if someone just drops without a reason to kill him off. I always give him 10 seconds the moment he gets up
by then his fatigue is refilled
