okay.

I went to my fathers place and he has an old pc that he never uses, AND he has fast internet unlike here at my mothers place. As you know here I could only support a 1VS 1 server and not too long. at my fathers place however it is improbable to play the game but I can set up a server =D

So, I've setted up a server with fast internet, there shouldn't be much lag. I asked my father to never ever shut the pc off

I even have to pay 10 euros for his electricity bill now :p . Cause I'm replacing the official server with this.

The server should be online 24/24 7/7

unless my father acts like a jerk or electricity just shuts down


EDIT:

Do not use hellzone grenade with Piccolo, If my server crashes due to it, I won't ride 10 miles to my father just to get it up, So if you wanna be an congested nose and do it anyway, then you scr ew it up for everyone

okay seems like when a player reach the fraglimit, it doesn't restart automatically, I'm going to try to find a solution for it. Stay tuned for the next exciting edit

all the spirit spammers will be immediatly kicked when I see it.

That sounds awesome! Just one thing though, are you able to restart the game in case it crashes, from your location? This is when things like remote desktop come in handy

nope I'm not,

The pc my father uses is veery old, I'm not able to use help on distant or Teamviewer to get on that pc or it would crash entirely, believe me:p

I can't even play ZEQ2 on it , just host the server, and its doing very well until now

The best way you could run a fully optimized ZEQ2-lite dedicated server is via running it on Linux. By using a special, separate dedicated server binary, it won't load anything at all except the core itself for hosting and running the server, loading the game's logic, and so on (meaning it won't load unnecessary client libraries, like graphics rendering API such as OpenGL, sound subsystem like SDL or OpenAL, and so on). Then controlling is a simple as chatting on the IRC channel
Basically all you do is install the necessary ssh server binaries for the Linux hosting server, you install a ssh client compliant on your Linux client operating system or even under Windows, then you simply access the system and control it like at home.

yeah..or I just create a server on my fathers pc like I Did now ;p

no you can't

for instance, if someone has the Vegeta addon, and he uses gallick gun, but the other doesn't has it, he won't see the attack and Die without reason. Same is with other attacks from other characters
