Here is a Google document of my tutorial
https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AYUBWmIf2_l1ZGZiNm05OXNfMjhkOHI2cmNkcQ&Half-Life=en
Would be great if it were made into a HTML document.
Enjoy!
Update 28/02/2016:
Eagle has kindly created a video of the tutorial, check it out here: http://www.moddb.com/members/wh1t34gl3sas/videos/ZEQ2-lite-revision-1916-basic-mapping-tutorial#mediaform

well, first. I'm working in 3dsmax5.. I followed the tutorial in creating sky and world models and exported them to a ASE extension as you mentioned with the defined measures. but when I try to import them in netradiant as a MISC. it says "Model load failed: "E:/shared/sky.ase" and a small box appeared instead.
how can I solve this problem?
edit: and does the version of 3dmax affect in this?

The reason is that netradint didn't detected it complete ...put the netradint folder in the same directory as the ZEQ2 and export your asc files in the Zeq2contents maps folder

Are you making sure to CLOSE NetRadiant before the step of adding mapTutorial to shaderlist.text ? NetRadiant is supposed to create it when you close it. If you screwed up somewhere, it's probably there. Or you didn't follow the installation guide properly.

Well it apeared finally but got another problem....when I open netradiant again and I must load sky.ase I got an error :
Texture load failed: "textures/"
brushDragNew
WARNING: could not extract the relative path, using full path instead
Model load failed: "C:/Users/Buksna/Desktop/Map/Sky.ase"
entityCreate -class misc_model

well, as it mentioned above.. you should export your .ASE Model Files Directly to ZEQ2Contents\Maps besides, NETRadiant Must be Installed in the Same Directory ZEQ2Lite has been Installed. then you should load successfully your Models. and about "Texture load failed: "textures/" . Be Sure you did write the (yourmap.Shader) code right. and placed your map folder right in maps folder and textures folder.

I have:
D:\Netradiant
D:\ZEQ2
D:\ZEQ2\Maps -> .ase files
so when I load up Netradiant, It shows me the textures.
but when I export the map to bsp, the textures won't show ingame.

EDIT: Found out problem....reinstalled zeq2lite and now it works...
Problem was about loading textures
EDIT 2: Me again....new problem pops out...the last step of doing it right it comes with errors...so I clicked build and first thing and its starts to run the engine...files loaded...and it goes ingame...problem is it's not loading map...it goes to menu...
I went back to radiant to see what the problem is and I got this errors:
1) WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader textures/NULL
2) WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader TutorialWorld
3) WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader TutorialSky
Anyone with answers
Regards

after days, no weeks of sorting things out I came to the solution for my shaders
you wrote "zeq2contents/maps/tutorial" is the place where your own textures in the shaders have to be
yet I found out they have to be in "zeq2contents/textures/*yourmap*"
so please edit it , I'll edit my word document too
simple island tutorial
