1.Open up the game and go to the Create Server Screen.
2.Select the Dedicated to "Yes" and set the settings you want.
The Power Level, Charge Speed, etc.
3.Click Start and a console should pop-up.
4.Now open up [ http://www.gametiger.com/search?mod=ZEQ&game=all ], this site and reload it after a few minutes till you see your server's name online.
5.Quit the Game and login agin, This time set the Dedicated to "No" and leave everything else as the previous time.
6.Launch the Game
7.People will join if they see the server on the site.
8.You will need to be online(in game) if you want people to play on the server.

This is what I believe you do:
-Start a game with dedicated set to "Internet"
-The blue console screen comes up, like you say. Ignore the error message (not sure why that appears, it still works, though)
-Alt+Tab and go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/
-Copy your IP, then open a new instance of ZEQ2 and join the server like you usually would

you can't make it on game tiger
it has to be working
hope that your router works properly
if it doesn't you cannont host your own server

Shane wrote : you can't make it on game tiger

so what your saying is that you have to have router to have server online visible to all the others???

I'm just saying
if the server doesn't appear on game tiger after 2 hours
something is wrong with your router or internet or something

Surely if he can connect to his server using the internet IP then it does mean it's working correctly?
For ages when I hosted servers it would never show up in gametiger, even after hours. For some reason it does now possibly a firewall issue? Not sure.
RealDeal, are you using a router? Make sure the correct ports are forwarded: 27950 to 27965 (UDP and TCP). This might make it show up in gametiger.

Ah, RealDeal, that looks like your LAN IP rather than your internet IP, which means only people connected to your LAN network can join.
Is that the IP you got from http://whatismyipaddress.com ? And you set dedicated to 'Internet'? Remember to forward the correct ports in the router settings also.

no dude actually I clicked play
and the fight option was available
even when I click on servers-internet[play menu]
my server is visible
so I clicked on fight
when the stage loads I found the address
it's not the ip address of whatsmyipaddress.com

okay then that's when you open up your own server and click fight and you end up there. that ip isn't real the only way to know if it works is to get another player to try the ip that's on whatsmyip.com
if it diesnt work
