Hey guys,

I was wondering around (AGAIN)!
so here it is the first prototype!

I was thinking on working in a different cloth style that could be included in the Dragon Ball Z fashion style..
so I remembered Yadrattsei-jin cloths (the ones Goku used after defeating freeza!

any ideas will be thanked Wink

as soon as I finish I'll post it!

enjoy and if possible help me out!

well it looks cool...but it would be the most cool if you would actually make the yardrat suit...it would have great chances to get in Public Beta 2 or something like that...if they make it after sagas...and I really like the yardrat outfit *laughing out loud* Smile

sorry to disapoint but basically this is Vegetto with picolos body!
plus head, body, legs texture edit plus scouter!

I just hope this can show you guys that it isn't that big of problem not to create a scratch, some edits can actually be really cool! while in the process "what can I do" make sure to have fun while doing it!

well, I do have some models,in maya and rhinoceros4(3dm)
but I haven't found a decent and easy reading tutorial on how to rig, import, ELABORATELY DESIGNED MINT CONDITION ACTION FIGURINE FULL PLAYSET bla characters, until then...well this is probably the best I can do!

thanks for the comments!Wink

Why didn't you use Goku's lower body? Because in his yardrat uniform he still has the same boots and pants.

Again, nothing really special here in my opinion. I suggest that you add some details to the model instead of just adding a line and then recolor half of the chest.

I still can't undestand one thing,
if I alter a upperbody it loses all animations! =0

if you can explain me how to overwrite this,it would be much better!

I have no problem in modelling, actually I'm good at it!
but about animations.. slam!

I know there are plenty tutorial in the web, but I don't have the time to read all and find one that actually explains to a lower level such as me!

if you can make a pdf with basic instructions on "how to make a ZEQ II lite character - for dummies"

I'll be glad to read it, learn from it,
and if possible improve and create many cool stuff!

if you wanna help, then help!

thanks again!

The problem is that the body/lower meshes use vertex snapshots of each frame of the model. Editing an MD3 file with animations at all is not really recommended due to this flattened nature. You'd have to modify your changes for each and every animation frame.

Additionally, if you're using Milkshape, I've heard there are issues with properly exporting MD3 animations (although this is unconfirmed).

Your best bet is to either [a] create your own character model from scratch, add and weight to a skeleton, then apply the .bip file that's been supplied in the other thread (you'll need to use 3ds max for this process) or [b] wait for the next release where all original models/maps will be provided in an non-exported format and then work changes from that.

You can probably expedite option [b] if you frequently visit IRC.

thanks Zeth, thanks a lot, you've proven to be quite a guy! Wink

I already working on 3Ds max, basiclly many of modelling programs work almost the same, I'm used to work in maya, rhinoceros and solidworks! totally diferents in some kind, but the basic commands are almost all the same!

instead of just wait for the Public Beta 2,
I'd probably get to work before the new ZEQ II - lite version, for a mattter of alter ego, if you guys can do it... I wanna do it!Very Happy

hehe

Zeth thanks for everything, support and encourage!

keep up!
