Well, yesterday I was opening windows, it was all okay, but in some minutes. the mouse stoped work and now I need use the weird thing of my laptop (under the keys).
Can you help meh?
My laptop is an acer aspire 5738zg and the mouse was working perfectly

Well there can be 2 reasons:
1.the input is dead
2.maybe the mouse is broken,try with another one.
