I have a similar problem, when I use a blast, it lags a lot! and I can't transform...

You might want to look at that post date again, that was from 2009...

And to Qwerty's question, no idea, this is probably the wrong website to be asking for that kind of info since we don't deal with Steam as much around here it seems...

Its simple. DMZ is not really compatible with the STEAM version of Half-Life. You need the old WON version and patch.

Why the 1.7 version seems to work on Steam? there is a way to merge the files with the classic version?

As far as I remember the 1.7 version was a quick steam compatibility patch. Not sure how that scaled with the more recent HL1 updates though.
