Hey folks, working on putting together a character of my own design, but I've hit a stumbling block, and am not sure what's wrong where, or how to fix it...
I got the model finished, and animated(using the standard Goku animations) and I've exported all the parts into MD3 format, but when I try loading it up in game, it's rendering as nearly 300 times the size of a normal character... Not sure where I went wrong, could use some help on this one...

Am I skipping a step, maybe?
Edit: And before anyone asks, no textures done for the character yet. Still very much a work in progress...

okay, figured out part of the problem, I had the character scaled up too much in 3DS Max, so I just need to fine tune it down some until it's about the correct size...
Oddly, I'm noticing another issue. The character and all her animations are playing sideways... As in, Camera is facing forward, I'm looking at the character from her right side. This seems tied into all animations, so I'm not sure if it's something I did, or if there's a glitch somewhere in the animation file I downloaded... suggestions?
Bare in mind, I'm kind of new to the character creation scene, and this is really my first character model...(I've modeled some simple things before, but never anything as complex as a person...)

It's a character of my own creation, named Saphire Nova.(the misspelling of "Sapphire" is somewhat intentional) I originally created the character in the MMO "City of Heroes"(a super hero MMO) and ended up developing a bit of backstory to the character, and she just kind of grew on me.
In a nut shell, her concept is that she's half human, half cat, and fused with an alien energy being.(called "Kheldians" in City of Heroes, though when they fuse with humans, they become "Peacebringers") The alien's symbiotic relationship with her is what allows her to use energy based attacks, similar to those used in Dragon Ball/Z/GT, if not quite to the same extent as someone like Goku could in Super Saiyan 4... Think closer to Gohan's strength towards the end of the Namek saga, and that'd be about how strong she'd be.
Seemed the most logical character of mine to pick for my mini-project, since she's the closest to being able to be thrown into the universe, and I'm not up to the caliber yet to start modeling based off of Dragon Ball Z characters just yet.
That, and I prefer to make my own characters, rather than just mimicking what someone else on these forums has probably already made or started to make...

Alright, got the character to roughly the correct size, but she's still floating about a foot in the air when on the ground, and facing the wrong way, and my attempts to correct it in 3ds max have thus far not worked... Here's what it looks like in game currently:
(Ignore the Goku avatar in the image, it'll be changed to original artwork when I get the character more polished)

Any idea how to fix it? Am I using a bad Export script or something maybe?
Oh, and before I forget, how does one create the .ogg sound files? I'm not familiar with that file format type...
