Can that be possible? It can become super famous so happens. Moreover, millions of steam users will get it in the 'Free Stuff' section and also, updates will easy to download. The reason for this is: when go to GameTiger.net servers, I find this very discomforting! Only one server which I can't join . But, I'm sure If ZEQ2 goes to Steam, the number of servers will increase.
This is just a suggession, but a nice idea I guess.

I mean, let the devs use non-steam servers, but normal players will use steams servers. So there will be easy downloading of addon files which the player doesn't have.

Earth Special Forces 1.2.3 only has profile on Steam, but users have to download it from filefront or other links given in the official site. By the way, those addons are copies of ECX, moostly April Fool based.
I want ZEQ2 uploaded on Steam.

I know that . the add-ons are no more of low quality edits , SV and some other modellers made add-ons for Earth Special Forces openbeta final , higher quality actually they are not edits they are pure models . and by the term people have downloaded it over 2 million times ment that users probably saw more Earth Special Forces server and more people downloaded it

My point is that Earth Special Forces has servers so what? Earth Special Forces requires Half-Life to play, but ZEQ2 is totally free, so there's more chance for its success.

Earth Special Forces has a Steam game profile page, yes. But do you see it on Steam Store to be present in any category? Nope, there is no trace of downloading it, you have to download it manually of the web.
After you install it (externally, while having Steam closed), starting Steam then will recognize it as a regular Half-Life mode, which of course will happen only when you have Half-Life 1 installed (not to mention Half-Life 1 has to be possessed as well).
Have you seen the process of how ordinary games are being updated to use Steam's features? The service is called Steamworks. It's no picnic, the Steam staff can reject your game with ease. Here are some info/procedure how game scan be integrated with Steam via Steamworks: http://www.steampowered.com/steamworks/

No-Steam, as always can and does have two meanings, mostly have the same significance.
One is the old deprecated WON edition of Half-Life, which was suspended after the Steam version of it became operational. It's still the classic version, you don't need Steam or anything else to launch it.
The second term is the a more illegal version, which can bypass Steam itself, while emulating some functions that makes the Steam-based game pretty much complete, without starting with Steam at all.
Either way, both are considered illegal by Valve, owners of the Half-Life and Steam platform, and are pretty much discouraged by any kind of communities, including this one.
Of course, we might consider uploading a game and making it Steamworks compatible, but that depends on many factors. The most important priority is to make the game as stable and bug-free as possible for the upcoming Public Beta 2. Then when the time comes, we will try uploading it nonetheless.
But lastly, we won't make it Steam-only. There will be two editions, one will be the old-fashion, offline based archive/installer, while the other is online based downloading using the Steam platform. Both version will be compatible with each other.

Earth Special Forces' servers can be parsed and viewer from Steam Serverbrowser, because Half-Life has the functionality to do it, tightly integrated with Steam, if you might. And because it's a mod, that feature still remains the same from within the Half-Life main engine/codebase, so it's easily painless to make it happen.
We might try to integrate the server browser functionality between the platform and the game, but that really depends how exposed is the code, and how easily can information be parsed between them.

I know what Steamworks is, how Valve deals with Indie developers as well as developer companies and also know how Half-Life and its mods are integrated with Steam. I agree with you that your team should upload it after Beta 2 release, many bugs may get fixed after that, and that's what I wanted to say, but I forgot to mention that. Thanks for taking my suggession.

It might be your suggestion or not, but it's definitely their choice to approve or reject out request to upload. Also, we must polish major and minor bugs, while implementing stable functionality, before we even think it's a worthy project to upload just yet.
