WELL THIS IS WHAT IT IS WHAT GOING ON
I STARTED LANDING MAP
the screen is fully white
grass is not green
objects like house,trees,etc have colour
I have 3 os
xp,vista,7
its still proper on xp
vista its become fully white

So how come the whole screen is white, while in reality only the grass texture itself is show in white (while a shader file is messing it up)?
And no.. it's not operating system related. Unless, you store the game in a case-sensitive file system (ie. Linux filesystems and HPFS+ OS X case-sensitive filesystem), where landinggrass is not landingGrass. This, however, can't be reached, since only the Windows version of the game was released so far, thus it runs on a case-insensitive filesystem (doesn't matters if it's landinggrass, landingGrass or LANDINGGRASS).
Just uninstall the conflicting map addon and try it again.

After downloading the Islandcity map, a number of things goes wrong.
1: RealDeals problem
2: Rocks in landing lose texture
3: Clouds in landing lose texture
4: Bushes in landing change to Baldwins bushes
5: Sky may be a different tint of blue.
All can be fixed by uninstalling Islandcity

ust figured out this is not even the island city maps fault
my friend just downloaded ZEQ2 and this happened
game is buggy
what happened to the bug solved
There absolutely is NO bug here. Your screenshots clearly show that the grass texture has been altered, removed, or replaced in some way since nothing else is affected in your scene. I would have gone out on a limb and say that it has something to do with fog or the lighting model if other areas of the map had been adjusted as well.
The reason IslandCity causes such drastic results is that it replaces several shaders (using the same name) with its own versions. Since Quake 3 is only looking for the last shaders loaded of a certain name, it uses those found in Baldwin's map.
Are you absolutely certain that you have a 100% clean install with no addons and you are testing the exact same build folder on both operating systems?

Zeth, it's bugged.
I get this too, and I get it after I got rid of all addons, all maps and updated it with the SVN, same thing happens.

Also, get rid of the .shader files from the scripts folder, which aren't official, and replace the modified ones with the official ones. (from the ZEQ2PB1.rar file). This is where the SVN repository system comes in handy.

I used the SVN Update and everything is official, but I still get these errors, White Grass and Goku has Dark Skin.
Maybe it's Video Card related.
Oh and I set the resolution at 1600x900 why doesn't it get saved, when I start ZEQ2 I always have to set the resolution.

for the resolution problem you need to start ZEQ2 with the .bat file instead of the .exe file
the main problem is still a mystery to me

okay so these are the errors I get.
I managed to fix the resolution by launching the BAT.
And my ZEQ2 is okay, no addons no characters no maps it's all official I just got it by SVN.

First screenshot looks like your shadowmap isn't tiling for some reason. Actually, all of these look like shading issues. Are you sure you are using a proper unmodified exe and original shaders? Almost all of these issues look shader related.

Yes, I'm sure everything is at is place and my ZEQ2 has no modification it's like the first public beta.
Anyway can you share your shader files with me, maybe that'll be fixed then.

I think I know why it does that, it's because of the Video Card Dirvers, I have an ATI Radeon HD 3600, 512 MB, I installed Windows 7 and started ZEQ2 Lite, everything worked perfectly but then I realised for better games I also need to install my Video Card Driver, I took the Catalyst Control Center which is the only Driver for Windows 7 64 Bit, and after I installed it I tested ZEQ2 Lite again and it's now the same error as before.
Maybe this should be fixed for ATI Users.

so it works again for Azerty!
I told him on the chat, I searched it up on the internet and found out that you need to downgrade the ATICatalyst Center to 10.4 or 10.3 (don't know which for sure )
