I never had that man, I always get like 1 kill for about 5 real kills :p
You have more kills in once if you kill a player with a much higher powerlevel in mêlée, but that's around 3 kills for one, never 20 :p

as I figured score counting goes like this
if you Special Beam Cannon someone you'll get a kill...if you Special Beam Cannon him again you won't
To prevent that from happening you need to have different deaths on same player...like 1st kill Special Beam Cannon, 2nd Genki Dama, 3rd Special Beam Cannon
Then again sometimes this theory doesn't work so I tried to see if there is something else...what I found out is that you get a kill if you are responsible for his death..by that mean that first 1-2 seconds of attack are counting as your kill, everything else as attacks fault
So you'll never get score when you fire Spirit Bomb, or when you kill someone with attack like kame, or that piccollo powerful ball which lasts for few seconds and deals damage whole the time while it lasts
Sometimes you won't get a kill for killing someone but another kill will count as 2

There's no real score system in place in the public beta. The score actually means nothing and can increase/decrease based on seemingly random conditions.

well I haven't said that its working flawlessly but sometimes it can be really accurate...
Well it really doesn't matter does it, Public Beta 2 as I've heard will have it fixed

the increase I agree, The decrease not.
The decrease system is very simple as I see it. If you have 20 kills, And you are killed you will have 19 left. Never saw it different before.
