This game are a stuff. Because?

- Don't have BOT.
- Online mode is not working (why I need Hamachi for play online? Hamachi vacuums.)
- Don't have fusions and fusion dance.

Obs: ZEQ2 have good graphics, but don't have bots and do not work online play (so why I will play against a ghost?)

I only don't play Earth Special Forces now because my PC had a trouble and I cannot run him 100%.

Well, online play does work. Its just that the server browser doesn't, so you have to know the ip address of the server your connecting to in order to join that server. And additionally zeq2lite is in public beta 1 whereas Earth Special Forces has been around for many years and had time to develop and get a community behind it public beta 2 will be out in the coming months which will ( allegedly) have a working server browser to fix finding servers. In the meantime you can check the sticky at the top of this page for servers that are active and join those IP's you may have to wait for other players to join the server in order to fight them.

You are also correct that there are no bots or fusion dances from what I have seen they don't plan on ever making bots and I don't know about any plans to add fusion dances but transformations will be in public beta 2. In addition if you can't play Earth Special Forces because of the strain on your computer I would imagine it would be much harder to run this game as you have pointed out the graphics are superior.

Everything is automated via Steam and the the GoldSrc engine itself. Of course, even if you do an empty mod with one character change, you'll end up with a totally different mod settings and the server browser will only show you that mods' related visible servers.
Since ZEQ2-Lite is standalone, but still based on the Quake 3 engine, modifications are to be done in the source code which will make it a totally different entity, separated from the Quake 3's baseline. Also, we have to pick a different and a much stable master server in order to get the servers refreshed and parsed at few seconds span.

Currently, either a bug or an improper setting gets Quake 3 servers, but shows them as ZEQ2-Lite ones in the status (even if it doesn't shows anything in the list)

I do not understand what personal opinions or problems have to do with anything. There is zero validation and no point on that subject. Or it doesn't even enters the category of a proper subject.

every thing you said was true.....but earths special forces does still own ZEQ2(my favorite game ever)I will tell you why 1.ZEQ2 has better graphics (my opion) 2.Earth Special Forces has no good mêlée and Dragon Ball Z is all about mêlée and 3.ZEQ2 OWNS

This game has online play. You don't need Hamachi to be able to play it. It's just an alternative way. You can always go in the IRC of this site, And ask people to start a internet server. People such as Buksna,Mjuksel,Me

But don't go shouting for it, and be polite. Or you'll be ignored.

dude here is my opinion:

jes Earth Special Forces 1.3 looks now really awesome and its better then ZEQ2 but not in grafiks and the Earth Special Forces modells are from low skilliing modellers

look at Earth Special Forces first public beta and then ZEQ2 public beta 1 tell me what youz see?

this game would be much better then Earth Special Forces easely but its too new

bots: its possible to add bots just wait for the next beta ( Earth Special Forces the public beta doesn't had bots to)

online play: go to specifiy and out there this: aisdead.no-ip.org this is the a server there are most players if you have questions go to the chat and ask for battles etc.


you don't need Hamachi to play Hamachi o only there for playing throught Hamachi with Hamachi ip like a private server for ZEQ2

Seriously, how many times I was repeating this over and over again. How can a mod, such as Earth Special Forces, be compared to a research project which analyzes EVERY aspect of an anime series, mainly Dragonball Z in our case?
It wasn't even released, and there were barely any contents shown back in 2007, when it was still active.
The only version of ZEQ2 was released is the Quake 3 version, which is now named as ZEQ2-Lite.

To connect you will need to enter game then press play then specify then enter it at the adress field, and voila ! you're online , if you find none, just wait or connect later
also you don't realize the issues the devs are encountering to make the game and improving it, so for a first beta release, it will be anything but don't vaccums...

We don't even include bots when playing in school. It's just our classmates against each other. Much more fun that way. Especially when my team ends up with more girls.

TheXenon, I know you've been around long enough not to be uninformed on this matter. This isn't the type of project where people just sit around and expect some set of single developers to contribute to some ongoing development. As has been stated numerous times, the initial plans were just to throw out the old version of the 2005 build-set (done) and then let people have their way with it.

The primary goals for the ZEQ2-lite project were already met last September. Anything beyond that is just icing on the cake.

Hey guys. I'm just new here. I love ZEQ2lite even I play alone. Good graphics. Better than Earth Special Forces.

I own an Internet cafe... And Kids love it.
They just ignore Earth Special Forces and Bid for Power 4.

what's good is the game analyzes the Original Anime Aspects.

I am still learning C++ and Java. And I dream to be one of the development team... Its my goal in the long Run. TO HELP...

I can't stand watchin here waiting for the game to Die out. This is one of the best.

I wanna ask for some advices.. What books should I delve into? at least Coding and Development.. I am not really into Modelling and Animation but I guess if I have free time I can give time to learn it and help in the future.
