you need to directly export it to md3, you use blender right ?
it should have an included md3 export Smile

export from 3ds max or blender to .ASE format
then import in radiant, it's explained in the tutorials Wink

you can export to md3, ase, obj, 3ds or lwo formats Smile

these are all supported by (Net)Radiant

when I try open md3 file in blender I got error -it's not blender file. how to open md3 file? 3dmax can open it? or I have to use milkshape?

you have to get a md3 importer plugin for blender
this place have one http://cube.wikispaces.com/Blender+Animated+Md3+Export

paste the contents of zip under blender->.blender->scripts

then goto file->import->quake3(.md3)

that plugin works on blender 2.49b I don't know about 2.5 alpha2
