I know, right?? The old style was so much better, the tracing was perfect, and really looked like the manga, while the new style is well...new, It fails to even be Dragon Ball Z-New York iwth its colors and overall animation. I mean there's a reason why people like movies 1-3 so much and the specials, the art style is just gorgeous.

A lot of those are from freelance artists. Second one is Ide Takeo and the third, Tadayoshi Yamamuro, who is still the head animation supervisor today.
I agree, I like the way the used to ink and color their animation.Nowadays it's all, flashy and computerized looking. Episode Of Bardock is a prime example. Some aspects of that is cool....and some aren't. I DID like how they did the Jump movie. I could live with that.

I dislike THE WAY Dragon Ball kai is drawn , though I liked the 2008 special , the early Saiyan saga original art was a bit odd *intense laughter* even Namek , gokus chest was enormous , cell/Buu saga art was the whizzy zazz!
