Well I'm just asking...
What does it mean?
Earth Special Forces = Earth's Special Forces
Bid For Power = Bid For Power
ZEQ = ??? ??? ???

Well, that doesn't really make no sense.
It's just like... "Hey I wanna make a Dragon Ball Z Game called FDH 3 Lite."

Brad chose the name by picking 3 letters which are not used together, thus giving it a completely unique name with no actual meaning. It also doubles as a sort of viral publicity method with the amount of interest there is in what the name means. Its quite clever actually.

Not only that but also for less conflict when it comes to search engine results for the term.

That's fine, except it's akin to saying Earth Special Forces stands for "Extra Special Fighters". You're free to have your own perceptions, but initially ZEQ2 is a known as a hollow acronym, and as such has and never intended to have any letter meanings.

*laughing out loud* , most of us had a common thought , I also asumed that it might be z enters quake , but from the start I called it z-e-q-2 lite ( zed/zee-ee-que ) , and most of them pronounced z-e-q as "ZEQ" until Brad said that its really z-e-q
