I started diving into the realm of Horror animes yesterday and decided that Higurashi no naku koro ni would be my first. I heard about how cool it was and scary and stuff and I've seen some footage of it. It really looks disturbing.......but WHO CARES? Imma watch.
What the point of this is? To ask if any of you have seen it/read it and tell if you like it ;P

There's a second season: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
And an OVA released this year: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei
There's also Umineko no Naku Koro ni which is the same world but in a different setting.

Well I watched until episode 4... everyone died *intense laughter*
and in the 5th one everyone is alive again *intense laughter*??
or is it something like an alternate reality?
EDIT:
It's a nice anime. *intense laughter*
But isn't really my type.

Its different view points Nemix. it's not really my type either, I'm more for the soft violence (low amount of blood), like Dragon Ball Z. But somehow, I can't bring myself to stop watching O.o
