This thread will be dedicated to our jolly green giant Cell.
I know what you are thiking, why do another cell?!?1
well the older one that I put up for download is poorly constructed and out dated. this new one I'm conriibuting to ZEQ2 only.
Anyway here I'll be posting my progress.
currently done
* rebuild the head, neck and arms.
* torso removed tri's and improved polyflow.
plans for tomorrow.
* rebuiding legs were needed inc feet
* tweakin the arms.
now its time for some sleep. Njoy

I can come up with some crits proportion wise.
-the head to body ratio is too high. He looks a bit like a teenager.
-for the same reason his shoulders should be broader and his legs longer
-his feet look to have a bear like shape, they need to be finer and a bit longer.
That's about it for now, looking very good in the polyflow department otherwise.

okay before you start posting, ZOMG you're USING WRONG COLORS!1!1
I am aware of that thanks, it's not uvw mapped yet so just for screenytime I applied some vertex coloring.
Done today

oooh oooh ORGASMIC MODEL D2 good job
D2, you could rig it to Goku's biped, replace some animations with more original ones, then export the model in 3 parts as md3 and voila... you'll also need a shader file I think

I'm prolly going to rig it my self and give it custom animations.
as for shading this is just a screenshot from my viewport
Be patient ^_^ al in good time. tnight I will do some UVW mapping.
And If there is time left might even start on a texture

D2 great job so far but I do have some crits:
I think his arms should be a bit bigger like in the refs I posted above. the refs are from the anime directly so they are accurate.
and I think that the legs seem to bearly like TRL said, I mean below the knees... I mean the shape is okay.. I just think that the muscles should be more visible.
But great work non the less.

He has been drawn in so many different sizes and styles.
So there is no chance to do a 100% accurate, also from something 2D to 3D...
Compromises have to be made. as for the bigness of the muscles.. I do not want to make him look like a fatty. I'm going to do the UVW mapping first. Texture and Pose him and see what happens. As for the shoulder When I put his arm down the shoulder will look bulkier anyway.
So like I said (A) be patient. But thanks for the refs though
