1gb of ram
now a basic thing , 1 stick of 8gb or 2 sticks of 4gb won't give you performance , no game takes up more than 1.5 gb alone , excluding the windows , now
for for example , ddr 800mhz , 2 gb = 800mhz
512mb x 4 = 800mhz x4 = 3.2ghz
resulting in more power for the game , instead of wasting on the ram get a good gpu or a CPU
even I got 60fps constant all maxed out with a Pentium dualcore e5400 @2.7ghz
2x1gb ddr2 800mhz
9800gt

9800gt dude who cares its working completely fine on my mother pc( 512mb ram, dual core 5000MHZ) on maximum grafiks  jeah with some technically tweaks like game booster
