Accurate Super Saiyan colors

I've been messing around with the texture and cellshade colors. And these should pretty accurately depict the Super Saiyan colors.

So who would want these supes? Discuss.

Also if anyone knows how to contact Malek. We need him to do a little model split regarding the Super Saiyan heads so we can get this ingame.

those are some nice looking supes ;D

but for Super Saiyan if you are going to do anthing with it shouldn't it be a little whiter with no aura?

Yeah, basically these would be the colors for the auro on state.

But, right now there is no support for aura state specific textures and cellshade colors so we need to make a choice, the pale, low contrast colors or these.

In Super Saiyan 3 he pretty much always had the aura colors, even without an aura.

Define model split. If you mean what I think you do, it shouldn't be that difficult to do. Tell me what you need, and I'll get it done.

Define model split. If you mean what I think you do, it shouldn't be that difficult to do. Tell me what you need, and I'll get it done.



You need to be able to rig Goku into skin, now he's rigged with physique. Then the faces of all Super Saiyan forms should be split from the hair into submeshes so I can add a different shader to the face. (right now the faces also have the hair's shadows, which are yellow hued)

I mean, can you raise the shader detail? Some game need Shader Model 2.0, some game need Shader Model 3.0..to something like that? Very Happy By the way, the black lines pixelated a bit, even on 16x filter for some reason..

If you mean add more shading levels, yes, you can add these manually on the cellshade bands. I don't know what you mean by shader model 2.0.

If you mean add more shading levels, yes, you can add these manually on the cellshade bands. I don't know what you mean by shader model 2.0.

More detail. I don't know Quake 3 Engine, can handle Shader Model 3.0, or for that need to rewrite the whole engine..

I'm confused... I just opened Goku's 3ds file, and he's already rigged using the skin modifier... And I have an old backup file from the SVN, and he's also rigged with the skin modifier, so he has been for some time it seems...

And did you need just the hair split off, or did you want the eyebrows split off as well, so they can get the same shader as the hair?(Super Saiyan 1 already has the hair split off it seems, as does 3, the only one that isn't is 2...)

Well then maybe he still needs to be exported. I heard from Ramunas he still needs tags. And maybe the currently playable Goku doesn't have the splits of the hair yet, well at least not in the shader file it seems.

Hmm... Just double checked, and the first and third transformations do indeed have the hair separated. Super Saiyan 2, however, will need to be separated still, which I'll do tonight when I get off of work.

For the other two at least, all you need to do is modify the skin file and add a new call up in the shader file for how you need it setup.

This is the line in the skin file for Super Saiyan 1's hair:

hairSS,gokuHeadSS



Just change it to something like the following:

hairSS,gokuHairSS



Then add in a "gokuHairSS" bit to the shader with your new settings.

Could you do that for me Shenku? This was my firs time editing a shader file and I've only gotten as far as replacing the link to the cellshade band.
