hello I recently found out this mod was released, I always followed it way back when it had just started, then forgot about it when funimation took it down, anyways I added some characters to ZEQ2, iv placed the character files inside ZEQ2/characters and there script files inside ZEQ2/scripts. Now all is good I see them in the character menu and I can chose one, but as soon as I load the stage they don't work all I get is the Goku default model, instead of the add on character id downloaded. yes I did search the forums did not find anything related to this. so yeah any help would be appreciated.

I did that, but then characters don't show up on the character selection screen, plus I had to create the zeq2content folder I have no such folder.

ZEQ2Contents was a folder from the original release. If you are using the latest SVN developer version, then you'd need to use the ZEQ2 folder. Many of the addons you probably got aren't set up properly (config-wise) for the recent versions.
