You'll need one or more of the following :
- A model editor [Milkshape, 3dsmax, Maya, Lightwave, Blender, XSI, etc.]
- A map editor [GTKRadiant, QERadient, NetRadiant, etc.]
The idea is simple. You will model what you want in your model editor, import into your map editor, then compile. Step by step : - Create model
- UV map model
- Texture model
- Export model as .obj/.ase
- Import model into Map Editor
- Assign shader/texture to selected model
- Repeat above steps for each model
- Add a skybox to your map
- Compile without -vis or -light
- Enjoy!
That's just a rough summary as there may be several other tiny in-between steps, but it should give you a generalized idea.
