Use this thread to post interesting player names and/or moments you've witnessed in ZEQ2 lite online.

These lists need not be complete, you can always edit and add to them (And make your own lists!)


-from me (not complete will add more),
(serial numbers alongside the names do not signify preference, once I'm done adding the rest maybe they will!)

1) |THe Elite| Domitjen -


I'd read about Domitjen in the forums, but never had the chance to meet him leave alone see him fight.
Then one day he popped in all of a sudden to mention some server changes. his form was Vegeta Super Saiyan 2 and this is the form he always arrives in. [I've never seen him requiring a boost]
Skkyper wished to fight him and I kept tagging along for the show, then Domitjen appeared out the blue to fight me or rather as he put it 'Lets see how much you know nik.'
I started with 'oh my' and the fight was over in 10 seconds, I didn't damage him one bit and domitjen left as mysteriously as he'd appeared.
I've fought him a couple of times after and damaged him somewhat, (though he says I use breakers too often , I have to rectify that).
However I'm still far from beating him or rather bringing his heath down to around 20% which in Maszek's case (when he fought Domitjen) made him a member of The Elites.
Yesterday I was stunned to see how quickly Domitjen defeated every opponent that ever came across him. The poor guys didn't even had a chance..although |Sin|Freeq managed to kill him once when there were around 27 players on the servers and everyone had a lot of lag.
[this para above seems to be edited (by who I wonder) and though its fairly consistent with what I wrote, the writing is more dramatic...]

Questions for Domitjen.

1. that time with Maszek, Iggy and I watching, you did a mid air jump roll which you could control (antigravity). How?

2. How long did it take to become this good? Most of the clan members said they fought veterans to become good players. As you are one of ZEQ beta 1's veterans who did you fight, and do they still play ZEQ 2 lite?

3. I just realized I've no idea what ZEQ (in ZEQ 2) stands for!


2) I'm a big n0*b: Told him to change his name several times so people won't attack him. Has attacked me every single time we've met. I don't fight back. Loses fatigue and dies.

3)F* you Vegeta and F* you Nappa: Might be the same person

4)I'm a Jerk: Has attacked me more than once. Refuses boosts. Attacks Super Saiyan 3 players with power level of 1000. Dies instantly.

5) (Innumerable clones) Goku's, ZEQ2 sparking, Samcross (not TSW samcross) : Only once has one of the Goku's asked about how to change his name in the console, and that's my friend Winson.

6) (Name not known) started from M: I approached to boost him (which he refused) and he shot a kame at me which he missed cause he hadn't locked on to me.
The kame hit Domitjen who had just entered.
Domitjen charged in like lightning to return the favor with his spectacular mêlée.
"M" called him a loser and kept to himself from the rest of the session.

7)Sirage : Taught me how to boost other players. Prefers saying ccj instead of [s s j] for Super Saiyan. Its his style and now I've adapted it!
Got annoyed once owing to a beam struggle between me and another player that was taking too long. Attacked us both, went skywards and a bug got him stuck above the ceiling (so couldn't attack).

Cool_Guy: Taught me breakers (now I use them too often). Backed out into a corner during training and a bug got him stuck there permanently.

9] Maszek -

Firstly many apologies, I was on his server (having Phun and I had to attend a phonecall which kept me away from the game for a long time. Ultimately he closed the server and I had to quit too.
No hard feelings I hope?

Was rumored to be very intent on beating Domitjen?(haven't we all at onetime or another).

Now intends (as do I and several others) to beat the mysterious Skyrider, who beat Domitjen 3 times successfully *stunned*. (though Domitjen beat him in the end.

I'm getting better (says he) but he still beats me quite often.

Taught me how to save console history, and how to open a server and several tricks including feigning attack tactics that are as effective as they are unpredictable.

Me and my cousin had a phun time with him on his server. (though my cousin Nimish was pretty logging in an out due to me and Maszek being so engrossed in our "conversation")

I'm much older to Maszek, but I don't let my age come in the way of learning from skilled younger players, and Maszek knows his stuff.

He's a knockback fighter and taught me how to use the right click breakers properly, and the instakick breaker (there's another name for it)

He's also mastered the antigravity roll really quickly and gets it right each time. Doing that as frieza is a unique experience.

Also he let me call him by his first name. (no more formalities between us)

He mentioned (rather joked) today that he has not played for a while and is thus old and retired. Of course iggy and I convinced him out of it soon enough and then Maszek made me realized that in ZEQ 2 skills once set stay strong for all time.

A true determined and dedicated member of the Elites.

10) |SIN| Skkyper - Super player. Tough opponent. I really need to perfect my mêlée. Helped me perfect my roll! (managed it finally)
Not yet a the I'm now one of the high rollers!

11) Ivan - Helped me to boost power. Explained the UI power bar. Has yet to make me an player avatar for the forums!

12) Iggy - Kept fighting Skkyper and finally got his wish to become on of the SIN. Showed me many interesting hiding places. (or was that cool_guy I can't remember)

13) WS [Sagara] - teamed up with 2 other WS clan members and brutally spammed Sirage and me. A topic dedicated to them got them high five'ed for a while.
I still don't know what WS stands for though

14) Nik - that's right my duplicate! Was forced into fighting with a player (can't remember name, but the same story, refuses boosts, kame's ki balls galore) Crashed out just as the kame was about to hit me.
Joined back in, in 15 seconds, from where I stood my opponent was in full form mêlée with someone who kept backing out. Then my opponent drained fatigue, passed out and died.
I approached the victor and it was ME! Ultimate phantom AI bug!
Stupidly I didn't take a screenshot then, asked him if he was an imposter, declare the Highlander quote "there can be only one!" and killed myself!
Way to go - weird out of body experiences.

15) |TSW| Samcross - The real McCoy. Entered a sparking meteor Namek server, and he killed me immediately (I didn't even get to say Hi). Well no harm done, boosting was unnecessary (start with magic power number 32767) I turned to Super Saiyan 3 and disappeared, cause I don't have sparking meteor.
I asked Samcross who made Sparking meteor, he replied he did and I congratulated him. (though I've still not downloaded it)
I died again, (spammers) and returned as Piccolo, make some Ki ball graffiti in the sky in honor of sparking meteor till the lag killed it.
Then Samcross and another TSW made tidal waves by skimming spirit bombs across the waters surface like skipping stones.
I've tried to do this several times, though each time I'm about to release the bomb some @#$*@$ ki spams me to death!

16. F*Clark Kent you (self explanatory) - killed me when I was talking, do you not see that thought balloon above my head!

17. Unnamed player - Well we'll never know who you are now will we?

18. BBCZZ - doesn't talk a whole lot but I swear he's Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z. Doesn't taunt as such but playing style is withdrawn and complicated. Slinks away when your fighting and suddenly strikes at you like a cobra!

19. Mima - I've never met this player, but he has admin privileges and rather than get to know him the usual way on the servers (which almost always ends up with me on the receiving end of ki blasts and eventually dying), I have here an introduction from him as edit of my own string of writing...

"The mightiest fighter of them all. The legend itself. I have never seen him playing, but I heard stories of his phenomenal skills. I heard he even won one tournament, and furthermore, he was the one person everyone was afraid of. I heard he gained his skills in a matter of seconds (metaphorically speaking of course), and that he was the one fighter that knows no defeat. I would like to meet him someday, somewhere."

Tell the truth, though I found the edit out through Domitjen (who pacified my resulting panic & confusion), I appreciate good humor and good writing!
Not to question your fighting ability, of course I shall want to meet you on the servers sometime, I heard there was a fight between you and Domitjen back in 2010 which I shall check out.
And how have things been since then?

20. Naruto - Popped in on stealth's server only to be told (by Domitjen) that he was in the wrong game. I think he left afterwards

21. I'm from China - I did read somewhere that he's from India (need clarification on this one)

22. G (as in before the letter H. gee is a correction that keeps happening when I just type the letter) - A good player, our fights were constantly interrupted by a "Goku"

1: That's a bug I recently discovered, when you do a barrel roll on the ground and press f and forwards directly after it, you keep levitating with a barrell roll :p

2: I started to play around October 2009, There was a guy named Soulz in the servers who beated everyone that time, and I knew that a tournament was coming up, So I literally played 24/7 nonstop to be able to beat Soulz and win the tournament which I eventually did.

3: ZEQ has no meaning at all, some claim it to be Z enters Quake, but that's a fanterm.

Haha hello and welcome. This joke was just to irritate Domitjen, but that aside, I am sorry. On the other hand, you would probably beat me (you and everyone else around here) since I haven't played from the moment SVN went public. That is I haven't played ANY of the newer versions. Last thing I played was the most playable one (Public Beta 1) but there, I don't think my description is faulty. Again, sorry for making you panic, it was just a joke to get Domi a bit fired up.

Thank you, they have been going well. I have won the tournament, so I think I am the best in Public Beta 1 now. Of course, I can't measure up to you guys in these new revisions.

On topic. Real hall of fame (at least in my opinion):
Domitjen, Buksna, Jaguar - For me will always be "The best 3". When I joined this community, all 3 of them were at their best. They loved fighting, and having fun. Now I see clan wars etc.. And all you people fight for is some fame... That's a shame actually.
JinGoku, Oldbean, Otpidarp, and Soulz - Fought only Soulz, and heard about the other 3. They definitely should get in this list.
Astronomical-110, Dokumas, Djsonic (Yes, Djsonic), ssj6vegeta, Zielan - All 5 of them were extraordinaire fighters, I don't know about now, but back in the day, they could have killed anyone.
That is the actual hall of fame, at least for me, since revision 1536/1526 (Or anything higher then Public Beta 1) is not playable enough to have "the best player".

Edit: I am not trying to say any of you good guys aren't good or anything. So if you think I am calling you our or something, I am not. I am simply stating my opinion.

@Mima - No problem there, was more confused then panicked, then when I read your edit there was just good laughter.

Domitjen sent me the link the moment he saw it, though after the clarification he was laughing too.

I liked the writing quite a bit so I kept it as it is and incorporated it skillfully into it into the rest of the post.

(Not so sure if I'd beat you though, I'm just about getting the hang of this game

edit:- The public Beta 1 matches must have been quite a sight, any more demos domitjen to load up and watch?
Were there clans back then as well?
My hall of fame (though my post here is more of a personal log) would definitely comprise of veteran players.
I've always admired players devoted to perfecting their skills without fame and glory as a necessary incentive.
They carry forward so much experience and knowledge its an honor to get to know them.
The players you mentioned (who were active during public beta 1, just how many are active at present?)

Well the matches lasted longer, and you needed more skills to beat someone then now. But there were only 3 characters, and no transformations. No, there weren't any clans then.

I think it has to do something with this DM_68.. It's DM_75 in my version(and I think everyones who uses 1536)
