Yes there are no items, but this actually has nothing to do with being or not being a mmorpg, it's a left over piece of code from Quake 3 that was never removed or re-purposed, unless I'm mistaken.

Really, it's just kind of there for the moment, so ignore it.(I was talking with Brad a few weeks back and we were thinking of cooking up something that I could replace it with, but there's nothing concrete yet, and replacing it won't happen for a while, since there are other priorities on my plate for the immediate future...)
