hi. anyone have a copy of old ZEQ?? (zeqsetup) I have one but CD is old and I occure CRC error. anyway before ZEQ2-Lite will go live, I would like to play old ZEQ one more time (played before, loved ;]) regards

as far as it was mod for Quake 3 you need Quake 3 right? ;p anyway it was better made than Bid For Power. that's why I want to play it instead of Bid For Power.

It wasn't better made than Bid For Power, it WAS Bid For Power. The whole setup was when I first got into mod development (through Bid For Power's awesome attack configuration files). Unlike Bid For Power's tier based gameplay, ZEQ was basically set up so each character has 5 unique manuevers (nothing shared). It wasn't super accurate and mostly used existing models/textures out there (just with a lot of tweaking and testing).
Still, it was a GREAT learning experience and brought us to where we are today. ZEQ is a primary example of why you should NEVER hinder someone from using/editing existing models to get started -- never know how far they may go.

Seems to work right with the latest stable OpenArena version. The only problems are that you need to raise hunksmem value to 256 or higher, and the second problem is that sometimes the heads aren't visible (headless playermodels.)
