Power up doesn't exist I've never heard of it before. There were other halflife mods, but that's not one of them.

It may not be the first Dragon Ball Z mod, but it was the first that was successful. While the Bid For Power was at version 1.1, the Earth Special Forces was still a very bad game.
This was the first game I played online, I bought Quake III just to play it.
At the start, my computer run four to 10 fps, but I was very excited when I play and I became one of the best players in my country.
The guys on video, fighting like bots, are very weak *laughing out loud*.
Good tribut!

I don't think I ever heard of it either... Granted, that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, but it also doesn't mean that Najeeb isn't just making it up either...

Fairly certain The Destruction is Real was one of the first Dragon Ball Z games in development being that it was being made on Dark Forces II -- a game released at least a year or two before Half Life. Granted it may not have been the first "complete" and certainly not the first "popular" Dragon Ball Z game project.

The story of Earth Special Forces begins in the year 2000 when our fearless leader, Mastasurf, joined a little known Dragon Ball Z Half-Life mod by the name of Power-up. Mastasurf joined Power-up as a webmaster, bringing along a modeler by the name of Super Saiyan Vegeta. Shortly after joining, Power-up recruited their first mapper, Stryker.
I think Bid For Power was the first mod that broke up from its modded game and became a separate game

okay so you didn't invent it, but it's still wrong.
There were mods like DragonMod Z for halflife and Dragonball Quake for Quake I.

seperate?
you mean standalone ? it was never a "game"
when it released 1.0 it was Dragonball Z with 6 models changed
1.1/1.2 were only updates
I downloaded a leaked version of the very beginning of Bid For Power on my 56kbps modem, it took like 20 hours to download (80/100MB)

of course its wrong , because I found it right ?
no , dragon mod z came after this , it came during the time of Earth Special Forces , power up was technically the start in 1999

The Destruction is Real potentially started as far back as 1997 (although I'm uncertain of the exact date) due to the game that correlated with it's basis. TRL is right though. There were a wealth of mods before Earth Special Forces or it's "predecessor" if you simply look at the base games of foundation alone.
This is really all quite irrelevant though. Why does it matter who started the first 3D PC Dragon Ball Z game anyhow?

that is not even close of the real Bid for Power..
English Bid for Power inhaled buttocks, and just put some models in it..
I mean the true raw Bid For Power, I still have it on a cd I burnt 8/9 years ago
