hey guys you got an idea, you know how the people online who play ZEQ2 and they can boost there power level and then kick everyones buttocks whos got lower power level, yeah so I was woundering if it would be better to not have power level but have it like Dragon Ball Z games for PlayStation 2 like as if the game is not with power level,as if if you use kamehameha the your energy would go down instead of the other way around,so to rap it up just make a health bar and energy bar......something you don't understand PLEASE tell me

This idea is like stealing a celebritys car and then smash it for no reason. and these energy and health bars has no relie on boosting.

So it's the "DUMMEST IDEA EVER!"

The reason for some players easily beating others is not because of the power level, it is because of the stats in each tier. The power level is used only for numeric requirements like transformation, how much power a player wants to exert based on the multipliers of his/her stats, and overall intimidation of other players, just like in the anime.

If anyone disagrees or knows about this topic better, I.e. Brad, please say your piece.

The "boost" is already disabled in newer revisions. You won't be able to give someone immediatly 24k anymore by simply blasting them when you are already max power.

Other then that, overpowering your power has been restricted and limit as well thus you can't hide in a corner anymore in order to get your powerlevel higher. The only possible way
will be trough many battles and then healing your damage. Which you won't be able to heal entirely anmore as well but only about 30 percent if you inflicted damage on your opponent in the previous battles.

Which boost is removed Domitjen? The boost from death or the boost from legitimately powering up?... OR BOTH? Shocked

I'm talking about the huge power up you receive when a high powerlevel player blasts a low powerlevel player when he's at 1. Currently that gives them immediately 24k powerlevel.

But people aren't supposed to be able to go Super Saiyan 2 in about 20 seconds at all. Defeats the entire purpose of the game, so that has been disabled in newer revision.

Oh, that's good, I was getting tired of those that use the boosts to attack anyone they see, whether we are Away From Keyboard or chatting or something like that.

I'm assuming he means the "boost" from blocking with your powerlevel at 1, while someone with their powerlevel capped punches you once, giving you an instant increase in your maximum powerlevel. I don't think that was ever intended to be there for people to auto-magically get stronger, so it was fixed.

Increasing your powerlevel while overcharging is still there(and isn't going to be removed, to my knowledge), but it's been fixed to be more limited so you can't just stand around charging up for five minutes and have max power anymore. You can increase by only a little bit, but it stops after you go over your previous maximum by a certain amount.

The only way to increase further, is to die, which resets the "overcharge" counter to 0, allowing you to increase your power a little more.

And for the record, removing powerlevels is not a good idea, as a lot of the current systems are built around them, and they affect far more than just arbitrary visible numbers. Removing them would not only require a lot of work, but would also remove elements of accuracy. Someone at 32,000 for their powerlevel should be fully capable of completely dominating someone who's only at 1,000.

To think otherwise is equivalent trying to inform Vegeta politely when he's at Super Saiyan 2 with a powerlevel of 2 million(random number off the top of my head) that he's not allowed to kill Nappa because Nappa is only at 10,000... Vegeta will just give you the finger and kill Nappa anyways... That's not to say that he must kill Nappa, he could always hold back and toy with the nuisance until he gets bored, but it's in Vegeta's personality type to simply kill the man outright, if for no other reason than "he can".
