okay before you download anything or something you need to buy a Vaild Legal Copy Of Half-Life 1 not Half-Life 2 or Half-Life Source just Half-Life 1
Then after you buy half-life 1 you need half life running over something called STEAM.also you should be doing a thread like this in this http://forum.esforces.com/
so...listen carfully to this post or ESF123 will not let you install.

Earth Special Forces 1.2 is the current stable version of Earth Special Forces.
The Beta Version is Earth Special Forces 1.3 vacuums because its Beta.
Final Earth Special Forces 1.3 is going to be awesome...
Earth Special Forces is much easier to edit than ZEQ2... with ECX you can have many characters... with Earth Special Forces Default you have only 9.

You can play it with a illegal copy half life 1
Install it in your half life folder open the game host a online game and make sure LAN is checked Earth Special Forces should start
And I haven't tried it I saw this on a forum

That's not true. About Counter Strike 1.6 I'm not sure but they always say (Earth Special Forces staff) that it's not working either.

*laughing out loud* who said Half-Life 2 ... you'll need HL1
HL1 and CS1.6 are the same engine... *intense laughter*
HL1 contains only HL1 Engine and missions...
CS1.6 contains only HL1 Engine without HL1 missions only cstrike related files
Yes that's true Earth Special Forces won't have all the features that you would have using a legal HL1, for ex at Earth Special Forces 1.3 OpenBeta at the new character select screen you can't see the character pictures to select your character... if you would have hl1 legally you would see them....

Animated textures have been supported in most engines (including Quake 3) for over 10 years. Not really something new. Additionally, I personally think it was a poor choice to "show" the actual map boundaries with an effect rather than try to use the multi-sided skybox approach to mask boundaries completely.

I've been looking for Multiplayer Online Dragon Ball Z games for years and only came upon Bid For Power Earth Special Forces And ZEQ2-Lite in september so anything I see is pretty new to me... so you can understand why its exciting *laughing out loud*.

Understood. Earth Special Forces has actually done some pretty nice work recently with shaders, so I am by no means putting them down. I just believe some of their design and promotional methods were poorly executed.
